The scarred, broody alien warrior is her mate, they tell her.
He won't stop touching her, and as much as she enjoys what it does to her body, Alyssa needs time. Having to explain to an alien why her first time is a big deal is hard enough without said alien suffering from PTSD and barely speaking to her. But she'd get through to him, get that taciturn loner to open up so she can get to know him—outside the bedroom.
Except the moment it happens, she's abducted for the second time in her life. The only reason she's not despairing is him being there with her, on a huge ship full of mean mercenaries.
The only way to survive is to work together—starting with overcoming his past trauma. Luckily, he has a very patient human girl to help him.
One who would kill to get her happily ever after.
Warrior Stolen is a standalone sci-fi alien romance featuring a feisty heroine and a damaged hero. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed! 18+
Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be read in order.
Alaska Jones is obsessed with possessive males and spunky heroines. When she's not writing, she's enjoying long walks in the sun and trying to keep her monster pug from destroying the world.
The two main characters have a troubled past that affects them in the present. While the hero forms an immediate bond, the heroine approaches it cautiously. Just as things start to progress between them, his past comes back to threaten them. Tension and danger climbs to a near impossible high, making it impossible to put the book down!
A highly enjoyable story again with sweet romance and relatable characters with great dialogue. I received a review copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Alyssa chose to return to earth rather than stay on Halia, but as soon as she got there she couldn’t wait to leave and go back to Halia. She didn’t understand why but she felt pulled to return. When she gets back she is grabbed around her legs by a huge warrior who refuses to let go. Everyone seems to know what is going on but her.
Borkus began to experience great pain when the ship leaves to return some of the women to earth. He realizes that Alyssa is his mate, but she left him and the only way to deal with the pain is to work from sun up to sun down. When the ship returns he is drawn to it, even though he tries to resist. When he see’s Alyssa getting off, he runs to her and falls on his knees and hugs her legs. He tells her she is his mate, but she doesn’t have a translator yet and can’t understand him. Everyone tells Alyssa to just go with it. When she finally gets her translator she is sitting with Borkus when one of the females blasts out that she is his mate and to quit being such a baby. She is shocked and doesn’t know what to do or say, so she runs off for the night. In the morning she is embarrassed by her behavior and goes to apologize to Borkus and explain that she needs some time to get used to the idea and get to know him. He agrees, but things are not to be that simple. When Borkus’s ugly past comes back to haunt him, they must work together to survive and escape, hopefully!
This is a great book and I love how the relationship develops between Alyssa and Borkus. I hope there are many more books in this series!
I loved the story of Borkus and Alyssa. You feel that there is so much more for him if only he will allow himself to feel it. Since having his parents killed in front of him and then being taken as a slave his life has been one of pain. He has tried to put things behind him but he somehow they just creep up on him and despite everything shroud him back in pain. He is numb aside from the pain. The mental scars as well as the physical as he endured horrific beatings while captive. He fought his way out but to what purpose? The pain went away briefly and somehow returned stronger than before and he has no idea why until the transport ship arrives back and he sees Alyssa. She is his mate. Alyssa is struggling to say the least. She went back to Earth because she thought that was where she wanted to be and yet somehow she felt hollow and in pain. So she decided to go back to Halia. The closer she got the more she felt a sense of home. When she landed and a huge blue warrior basically launched himself at her and then glued himself to her legs, she was shocked. He told her that she was his mate which just about terrified the life out of her because she didn't think she was fierce, warrior-like or even just atheletic enough to survive the planet, let alone be someone's mate. They both need to make adjustments but will they do it in time? Lots of action, steam and just basically a beautiful love story.
Book 4 of the series focuses on Borkus and Alyssa. Borkus has a sad and tragic past to overcome and he is sure he doesn’t deserve a mate. He is surprised when Alyssa returns from Earth and he realizes she is his meesena.
Alyssa returns to Halia after experiencing a panic attack when she arrives back on Earth. When Borkus runs to greet her arrival and drops to his knees to hug her she is shocked and doesn’t understand what is happening.
Watching these two attempt to get to know each other was enjoyable. Borkus isn’t sure about going slow and thinks Alyssa is trying to push him away. Alyssa is overwhelmed and wants to go slow because she has no experience with men, let alone an alien male.
The story moves pretty quickly and the couple face danger from Borkus’ past. These two learn to come together quickly once they are in danger.
Overall this is an enjoyable read and characters from the prior 3 books have cameos appearances in this book which allows readers to continue to see what is happening with them.
I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely loved reading Alyssa and Borkus’s story. It’s chock full of action, tragedy, romance, steamy scenes and more, ending with a happily ever after.
Borkus was abducted as a child after they killed his parents. He was kept a slave for years until he managed to get free. Now living in the barracks and looking after the Kors, he’s been heartbroken since his mate Alyssa left to go back to earth. Not that she knew she was his mate. When Alyssa returns Borkus rushes up to her and hugs her tight. She’s not sure why until one of the females against humans tell her she is his mate. When he takes her on a trip to see where he was born they go into caves where they used to farm Garachi only to find the impossible. At the same time they find a camera that could only mean one thing, his abductor knew he was there. They try to escape before he arrives but Alyssa is kidnapped. Borkus goes to get her back and this time he’s not leaving without killing Hoyt and finishing what he started when he escaped.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This so DESERVES MORE than the 5 stars listed here! Ok, I have to tell you that Miss Jones does wonders with these characters! They Literally come alive right off the page! I am so loving this series! Every book within it is extraordinary! Yes they can be read as standalones but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading them in order! Trust me! The extent of this which I am telling you is BEYOND PHENOMENAL! Alaska creates this visually stunning world with characters that, like I said earlier, come alive! You will fall in love with Borkas. He is damaged but in the best way. Alyssa is not one to take lightly! She knows what she wants and she is not going to let anyone or anything come between that and her end goal. Now along the way it gets pretty dicey. You only have to trust me on this. It is a book you will long for after you have read it and will remember and continue to visit! IT IS THAT GOOD! I think that this book by far was my ultimate favorite out of all the books so far! If Alaska continues like this this will be your #1 favorite series of this genre and yes it is MINE!
4.5 stars. I haven’t read any others in this series so I can confidently state that this story stands alone. I believe it would be enhanced by reading prior stories.
Alyssa, the human female lead, has returned to the alien planet with her friends after going back to Earth thinking she would stay. Once on Earth, she felt like she needed to return.
Borkus, the alien male lead, was kidnapped and tortured and otherwise traumatised as a child but he still feels his species’ mate pull to Alyssa. When she returns, he is relieved and makes an effort to woo her with moderate success and some intercultural misunderstandings.
This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and I really enjoyed the way the characters interacted, especially the genuine acknowledgement of how the past can deeply affect and scar the future and one’s perception of it.

Such a great emotional story. Borkus has had such heartache in his life. We learned about his parent and what happened to him afterwards. He has lots of pain on the inside, scars on the outside and is addicted to a drug to help with his pain. He carries so much that he feels unworthy and ashamed. Alyssa has plenty of strength, spirit, backbone and quick-witted. I love how Borkus fell to his knees and hugged Alyssa legs when she came back to Halia. He realizes that when she left to return to Earth that she was his bond mate. They slowly take their time to get to know each other. There is danger, adventure, kidnapping, past enemies, working to vanquish their enemies, and excitement. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Borkus has had a difficult past to deal with, so he feels undeserving of a mate. When Alyssa first leaves Halia, he feels the loss. But she is also feeling something that pulls her back to Halia. Borkus sees her return and hugs her around her legs, but she had no idea what is going on since she doesn’t have a translation device.
Borkus is eager to be with her, but she wants to move more slowly since she has no experience with aliens. So he is afraid she wants to push him away. The two will have to get used to each other. When his past comes back to put them in danger, will they learn to keep each other safe? Will they allow their mate bond to strengthen them to fight for each other?
I believe this book is the sweetest love story ever written in this genre! If I could give it ten stars I would! I love the two main characters Borkus and Alyssa. Borkus has endured so much in his life…damaged inside and out. His scars he thinks make him unworthy until Alyssa walks into his life. He must deal with his past to secure a future. Alyssa is written with spunk and intelligence. I do like a strong female character…she apologizes for her initial reaction to Borkus and the bond. I loved the way they work together to seek their escape. Well done, well written, this one is worth every penny❤️
I haven't read the other books in this series but I enjoyed this book. Borkus was really sweet. My heart broke learning about what happened to his parents and what he went through afterwards. He has many scars- both on his face and on his body- and is ashamed of them. He also suffers from a lot of pain and is addicted to a drug that eases his pain. Alyssa didn't expect a mate bond. But she took time to get to know Borkus and slowly tried to get him to open up and talk about himself and his past and get to know him better. This book had nice bonding time between them, and then lots of action when Borkus's past catches up to him. Great read. 4 stars.
I think there should've been an extra chapter to transition better between 4 and 5, it felt clunky. Also while each story is different for each mate it's also sorta the same rinse and repeat formula. Meet mate, start falling for mate then one mate or the other gets into trouble sorta strengthening the bond and then mates live happily ever after. The happily ever after part I'm totally fine with. This one also felt a little short. But in saying all that I really did enjoy this book.
I haven't read the other books in the series and the first chapter was definitely dealing with events from previous books, but I didn't feel like it detracted from my enjoyment past that point. Warrior Stolen is both character and story driven.
Borkus and Alyssa were both interesting, flawed characters and while they spend most of their time getting to know each other while in danger, it still seemed natural. The plot is fast paced, but not rushed. The steamy scenes are very well done and detailed. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I would read more in the series and by the author.
This is a well written story about fated mates. It tells the story of two people that think they aren't worthy really but well suited for each other. And when they realize how their mate see them they realize they are worthy and stronger together. This can be read as a stand alone novel I fell in love with the characters in this book though. I will be looking for the others in the series just to keep reading about them and their world.

Borkus and Alyssa's story is such a sweet One. They both have so Manny issues from their past but they try very hard to live throw it . They are survivors but, Alyssa needs some time to adjust and Borkus just wants his mate. He Lost her on the past and Wont let it happen again. They have old enemies lurking by and get themselfs in a lot of troubled. But even with all their issues they still find a way to overcome their problems. Such a great story about overcoming our own fears!
I want to say this book was so sweet but there was an abduction and not fun stuff in it so that seems wrong. But even with the abduction these two were in it together the whole time and the way Borkus is with Alyssa is so sweet no matter the circumstances. I love how open he is with her about his rough past. I haven't read the rest of the series but I will definitely look into them now. The world and characters are very interesting and I am looking forward to more.
Triumphant This story pairs a scarred warrior with a traumatic past with a young woman who’s barely lived. I loved how they slowly came together, bolstering each other while they fell in love. The pairing of Alyssa as an AI genius with old school Borkus made for some exciting escape scenes as well. A page-turning, exciting read.
I really enjoyed Borkus & Alyssa’s story. Borkus is very sweet and will do anything for his mate. Together Borkus & Alyssa will do anything too return home. Another amazing read that I read in one sitting.
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book

Warrior Stolen is a riveting SFR!!!!! Borkus and Alyssa’s story is sweet but exciting, filled with action, and loving. Favorites: “Believe in the Tech” and Hoyt getting his end.
Yeah I want more!!!!! This is so not fair. This group of aliens are my favorite by far. Totally love how their bond is formed and everything. And it’s over 😭😭😭
