Although 500+ pages, but not once did i feel it being dragged. It's the characters that basically made me fall in love with the book. Each and every character was beautifully written.
I have always wished for a protective and unconditionally loving brother and i found everything i wanted in Mason. His character was like Meagan was reading my mind and writing whatever it is that I've always longed for. It was my favorite relation in the entire book.
Cam and Brady are the best things that happened to Ari. The way they treated her, loved her, knew her so well and just the vibe and relation they shared.. i was jealous I'm not even gonna deny it.
The story was basically a love triangle between Chase, Arianna and Noah. Chase was also one of Mason's best friends which means he was part of the friend group. Although people may claim he was a villain, I don't think so. Yes he was a coward, yes he made a pathetic choice but his choices were not easy. He had to risk his best friend or he had to risk a girl who happens to be his best friend's sister he likes. And even after everything went downhill and he was in denial that he lost Ari, i felt his pain of how he just couldn't accept that it's too late to make up for it.
Coming to the main story line. Ari and Noah are both amazing individuals with amazing personalities. Ari being the jukebox who has a lyric for every situation and who aims to be a homemaker some day. Just one selfless goal in life and that is to have people she loves close to her and happy. Noah is the college team captain, and unlike most college romance he's the furthest thing from a jerk. Not your cliche stud, he's the sweetest most loving and understanding character in the book. I loved him from the moment he entered her life. I fell in love with those deep ocean blue eyes with Ari and Noah for sure didn't disappoint. Each and every moment Ari and Noah shared was like an overdose of cuteness and I'm definitely not complaining. I think the thing i loved most about him was how rationally and maturely he dealt with the situations. While everyone was being emotional he was being logical and accepting. I loved how patiently he was in love with Ari throughout, knowing when to be there and when to back off.
All in all, the story line was beautiful and the ending could not have been more perfect. It was a great read and if i could steal someone from Ari it would definitely be Brady. ISTG the way he said "Ari baby" GOT ME EVERY TIME!!! AAAAA ...more
It took me two tries to finish this book because i felt it was getting dragged in the middle, but OMG i'm so glad i picked it up again and re-read it It took me two tries to finish this book because i felt it was getting dragged in the middle, but OMG i'm so glad i picked it up again and re-read it from the beginning. The story is about Aaron and Catalina, two colleagues who work at an engineering firm and both under the impression that the other one hates them, leading to the enemies to lovers trope. Lina needs a date to her sisters wedding in Spain because if she shows up alone her family will pity her and think she hasn't moved on from her ex. Enter Aaron, who comes like a fairy god mother and insists on being her date till she finally agrees. This book was EXTREMELY CUTE. I love Aaron. I love how patient he was, i love how he admitted that the reason Catalina thought he hated her was entirely his fault, i loved how he was there for her, i loved his dialogues, i loved his words and i absolutely adored the part where he knew Lina was disturbed but instead of forcing her to talk about it, he gave her a choice between talking about it or anything else she wanted, whatever would make her feel better. *butterflies* I always look for a good conflict and banter in an enemies to lovers, and this book served both BEAUTIFULLY. All the banter was hilarious and the last heart break in the office HAD ME IN TEARS. The author wrote it so well with such amazing dialogues. "I can't make you trust me like i want you to. With your whole fucking heart." *sobbing*. Also, the man watches disney, carries snacks for her and even smuggles donuts from a wedding for her. HOW PERFECT CAN ONE GET!!!! Lina is the cutest and most relatable FMC i've ever read. She is kind, jolly, sarcastic, ambitious, awkward, dumb and A MAJOR FOODIE. Honestly SLAY. I can't wait to re-read this book....more

First of all, i just want to take this moment and tell coho for the 1000000th time that I LOVE YOU!!! This women NEVER DISAPPOINTS.
The book is about a girl called merit, who has a family with very weird issues, and you know what, thats literally every family ever. THIS BOOK HELPED ME VALIDATE THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FAMILY WITHOUT ISSUES. However these people really needed to address these issues.
In her family, there is her twin sister, Honor, her brother, Utah, her half-brother, Moby, her father, and her mother and step-mother who are both named Victoria. Eventually Sagan, Honor's friend, and Luck, Merit's step-uncle, start living in the house too. So Merit lives with a lot of people.
*spolier* these people eventually do address their issues but healing takes time and we're all here for it. Its a very very cute family drama and it left me feeling all warm and fuzzy and happy. Trauma can also lead to funny situations and i'll be honest, i laughed a lot.
Sagan, who is Merit's love interest but also honors bf, has to be my favourite character. i just love men who are patient, who don't impose themselves on someones healing and sagan was just perfect.
ps. I loved all the drawings in this book. Such deep artwork...more
