I’m thrilled that it has now been published as a physical manga.
The story is captivating and keeps readers hooked to see what happens next. I appreciate how it presents a love story that is anything but typical. In volumes 1 and 2, we continue to see the relationship between Zylith and Zelan grow, and the depth of the characters continues to develop over time.
Like many others who have read this story on WEBTOONS or are just now discovering it through the published manga, I am excited to see what unfolds next in this interstellar love story!...more

It is narrated by Andrew Eiden and Stephanie Willings, who truly brought the main characters to life. Their narration made the story feel so real that I was completely swept up in the storyline.
The story itself is a romantic comedy that will have you holding your sides with laughter. I found the plot setup to be unique compared to other romcoms I've read recently. It's about a romance novel being made into a movie—how often do you see that? Most of the recent books have been dark mafia romances. The banter between the characters was amazing, and I love a good witty exchange, even when there's tension between them. This made the book go by quickly, which was both a good and bad thing!
Overall, this book was incredibly cute and delivered the plot exceptionally well. It cleverly incorporated elements of pop culture and celebrity romance, including the classic trope of a reformed bad boy. If you're looking for a funny romcom that will lighten your day, make you laugh, and offer depth with its characters, I highly recommend you pick up this book!

Now, these books can be read independently of one another or in order so you do not spoil anything from the previous book. So, if you have not read "when you left me speechless," do know there might be more spoilers ahead.
Now that you have been warned, let's get started with "When You Had Me Adapting." This book has dual POVs; we see the story from Jace's and Lacey's perspectives. This book's dual POV is nice, as we see the relationship issue from both sides and are able to really see how things happened and what caused the issue in the first place.
Before I get too far ahead of myself, this book is about Jace and Lacey. When Jace was 18, he was sure that Lacey was his soul mate; heck, he thought that at 8. But something happened because Lacey called him out of the blue and ended things one day. It is now one decade later, and both Jace and Lacey have to face what happened and see if they can move forward or keep being mad at each other for another decade.
If you are a fan of second-chance romance, this book will be right up your alley, as that is precisely what we get. It is also an open-door romance, so if you are uncomfortable with that, please know it happens in this book. We also get to watch/read about how the relationship ended and how it started to blossom again and get our happy ending.
Without giving you many details, this book has 4 out of 5 stars. It was a cute read that brought to light a lot of mental health issues we see in the world today and gave the characters a chance to work through them—the loss of a parent, cheating in a relationship, trust issues, and so on. Having these items in the book made it feel real in a way many romcoms fall short of. I greatly appreciate how Jess ensured this book represented these issues and allowed her characters to fix things.
Last but not least, I want to see a book in which Tanner finds love. He is a good wingman and deserves a happy ever after, too! So, if you could make that happen, Jess, I would love to read it!...more
Hello readers, I finished Disappeared by Linda Castillo as part of my 2024 reading challenge and wanted to share my thoughts on it with you!
Even thougHello readers, I finished Disappeared by Linda Castillo as part of my 2024 reading challenge and wanted to share my thoughts on it with you!
Even though Disappeared is a novella, it packs a punch with a storyline that’s just as engaging as a full-length novel. Linda Castillo has a real talent for creating captivating tales that feel complete—even in just 60 pages!
In Disappeared, we follow Kate Burkholder as she helps search for a missing toddler during one of the year’s worst thunderstorms. Kate was once one of the Amish. That said, she is one of the few policemen the community will trust when something comes up. As the thunderstorms worsen and water levels rise, Kate starts to sense that there’s more to this disappearance than meets the eye. Stumbling upon a family secret, she uncovers what she believes could lead her to the toddler before it is all too late.
I won’t spoil the ending for you, but I can definitely say that Linda nailed this story! It kept me on my toes without being overly dramatic, leaving me satisfied and eager to share my thoughts. It’s the perfect balance of suspense that makes it a delightful read!
This book and series are available in audiobook format, normal I did enjoyed this book in that format. You can find them wherever audiobooks are sold, or check your local library for a copy!...more

Kingfisher's deliberate pacing and writing style maintained a continuous feeling of unease, interwoven with Cordelia's character development, making this a 4-out-of-5-star read. We witness Cordelia's transformation from a fearful, quiet girl to someone who stands up to her mother and fights for what she believes is right despite her fears. This kind of character growth makes her feel much more relatable than simply a character who does the right thing without question. We also get to see her inner struggle to decide on what to do and how she makes those decisions.
With relatable characters a story of mystery, and just the right amount of horror, this book is one that you will want to pick up. Especially if you're looking for a chilling, atmospheric read that keeps you on the edge of your seat as a young girl navigates the horrors she has uncovered without losing her head, this book is perfect! I have always enjoyed T. Kingfisher's work and am glad to add this one to my list....more

Now, on to the review. Like many in the romantasy zone of fantasy, this book has a feel that we are all used to. I cannot discredit a book or author for sharing similar feelings. I have read too many fantasy books to expect something I have never read. So yes, some of the other reviews are correct in saying this book gives off ACOTAR vibes. But what romantasy book doesn't nowadays?
I liked CC Hartlys's writing style; it was easy to get into the groove with and kept my attention throughout the story. For a debut novel, I give her props. The world-building was fantastic, not too fast or too slow, in my opinion. Her character development was also on point. I can see great potential for these series moving forward.
I also really enjoyed Ny's character. She is a spunky FMC who does the best she can with what is thrown her way. So, like I said before, I can't wait to see where CC Hardly takes our girl Ny next!!...more
