Would love some recommendations for science fiction & fantasy works that feature characters who mother, especially books written by women of color. Some examples:

(This isn’t pure scifi/fantasy but has fantastical elements within historical fiction)

Yes, definitely not fantasy, but if I had to name it, perhaps magical realism. Hope you enjoy it!
