C. JoyBell C. Thank you so much for alerting me to this! Indeed, my original page was taken down in 2019 when I was red-tagged by the local government for speaking too "liberally". I have had to put my page back up several times now since then! Hopefully this is the last time. I am keeping silent about issues now, as much as possible. I live in an authoritarian state, sadly. 😞 I lost 20k followers in that takedown! 😩

C. JoyBell C. Hello,

How are you? I hope you are safe and well.

I'm happy to read your kind and supportive words. Hate is very similar to love in the way how it engraves images and feelings into minds and hearts. Sometimes, hate may even be more effective than love at doing that. You never forget anyone you hate. Personally, I am rather vengeful, so as you can imagine coming from a vengeful type of individual, I know what I am saying.

What would you like to discuss further? 😊😊 Feel free! 😊

C. JoyBell C. Hi there!

Your question is relevant, don't worry.

No one has ever asked that before, to be honest. I don't think my pen name is unusual. My first name starts with a C and so does my surname. And Joybell is my childhood nickname.

I hope you are safe and well.

Xoxo

C. JoyBell C. Yes, of course you may. Many people do that. Even some law firms are doing that.

I am so sorry for the VERY late reply! I only saw this now!

I hope you are well!

C. JoyBell C. Hi Patti! So sorry for this late reply. I am just seeing this question only now! How are you doing? Are you currently in quarantine?

I'm really glad to hear how this writing of mine has a profound impact on your life. So glad about this.

To answer your question, when it comes to relationships, I think staying "soft", from the female perspective, has a lot to do with staying in love with yourself, as opposed to throwing your love like a blanket over the man and putting all of your value on how he reciprocates, or if he even reciprocates at all. Men really just want to feel attraction as opposed to feeling loved and we maintain this as women by really staying so much in love with ourselves in the way that we are able to maintain our allure to the opposite sex. We lose that softness when we throw our love like a blanket over a man and we don't feel the same value coming back to us: that develops anger, bitterness, hate, revenge... just love yourself and give to yourself; this always keeps you soft.

I hope this answer helps and I hope you'll feel free to contact me on instagram or on facebook. Do take care!

C. JoyBell C. She moved into a neighborhood, only to discover that everyone had the exact same opinion about everything, the exact same sense of humour, the exact same political persuasions, and grew up to be just like their parents. She tried to leave that place... but the map only went around in circles.

(My idea of scariest scenario ever: being trapped in a monochrome, monotonous community of people!)
C. JoyBell C. Hi! Happy New Year!

So sorry to answer this only now. I am seeing these questions just now! Please join my newly opened Facebook Group, "Home of C. JoyBell C." to keep in constant contact and be able to interact daily.

I think that the threat to safety of the African woman, living in Africa, is profoundly intense. The number of African women murdered annually, in Africa, is staggering. Femicide. That's what it's called. Instead of "Women are being murdered" the narrative needs to change to "men are murdering women." Instead of "Women are being raped", there needs to be someone doing it, it's never something that "just happens" to a woman. "Men are raping women" is what needs to be spoken. There is a drastic change in the narrative that needs to be spoken with regards to femicide in Africa.

Please don't hesitate to keep in touch and to ask further questions! And please, join my Facebook Group. You'll thank me later on. 😊
C. JoyBell C. Hi there, Maria!

Being caged is always damaging, no matter what the circumstances for the cage may be. You must realise that you have the right to love all of the parts of you that other people don't understand.

I send you my warm embrace!
C. JoyBell C. Hi! Happy New Year to you!

No, I am actually not. Though my mother was born in the Philippines, her parents were both born in China. However, she insists that she is 1/4 Filipino, but I am not sure how true that is. The reason why this is untrustworthy is because her father's middle name was "Santiago", which, during that time which was around 1918 (my grandfather was very, very old when he passed), was not a Filipino surname yet. It was in fact South American, or perhaps, Spanish or Portuguese. But in the event that is true, that would make me 1/8. 😊 In any event, I am 1/8 of a "Santiago". 😊 I plan to do a genealogy test soon as I can, because my dad did a genealogy test and the results truly fascinate me! 😊 When I do that, I will surely share my results with the world!

Thank you so much for your fascinating question! Do keep in touch! I have a newly opened Facebook Group called "Home of C. JoyBell C.", do join us there! 💝
C. JoyBell C. Hi, Jerry!

Happy New Year!

Thank you so very much for making my work a part of your life and a part of the lives of those whom you mentor! I truly appreciate this!

To answer your question, I think that every writer is writing from a place inside of them. All good writing, at least, is done that way.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any further questions! I send you my warm embrace!
C. JoyBell C. Hi! Thank you for this question! Oh wow... so many possible answers! I love this question! I guess I'd have to travel back to the era of the Olympian Gods and be a Goddess! But I'm not sure that's even fiction! So let's be more fictional and say... Lord of the Rings. I would travel to the Elves' world there and be a High Elf! But I'm not sure if that's fiction, either!

Please feel free to ask questions, and have a very Happy New Year!!

C. JoyBell C. Hello, Leon!

I am ever so sorry that I was not able to reply to this question right away. Indeed, you asked this a year ago and I am only answering it today. I am only seeing all of these many questions pouring in from months and even years ago! Please accept my apologies.

First of all, it is an honour to meet you dear sir! I am happy to hear about your work. I am currently 35 years old.

C. JoyBell C. Hi, Gladys! How are you doing today? I hope you are happy and healthy and just so wonderful!

Broken people inspire me to write. :-)

C. JoyBell C. Hello, James! I apologise for my late response, I am only seeing all of these questions now! I hope you are doing well and I thank you for your question. But thank you more for your kind words. I am so glad to be a part of your life through my writings!

Well... there is a time for beer and there is a time for wine! To know which is when, is true wisdom!

I hope this made you smile today. Take care!
C. JoyBell C. Hello! How are you doing today? I hope you are well!

I do not agree. I am never sure if I would prefer going to the cake shop or going to the park. I only find out when I get there! I might be on my way to the park but then I get hungry on the way and I end up in the cake shop! I must accept this. :-)

I hope this helps, have a good day!
C. JoyBell C. Hello! Wow, I just saw all of the many questions now! Sorry for the delayed response! And thank you for your question!

I think that the responsibility of spreading motivation lies in the people who receive your work and decide that it is motivating them. A person who feels like they have received something that is life-changing, will be more than eager to share that thing with others.

In my career, I have never been focused on "achieving"; I have always only been focused on "touching." To touch a person you reach to them and connect with them. Focus on people and people will in turn focus on you. It is a relationship, it is not a goal.

I hope this helps! Amd a warm embrace for you!

Hello, Maria!

Thank you for taking interest in my work! :-)

You can find that quote inside of my book entitled Vade Mecum. It is the white Vade Mecum (not the blue one). Although, there are many other quotes that you may find also in the blue Vade Mecum! :-)

Have a wonderful and happy day!!
