Hi Christine, I've been on a journey through the Carpathian mountains with you for 26 years, and I can't wait to see where the next book takes us. I have two questions. Are you planning on re-releasing the earlier Dark books on audible/chirp etc? And, does your publisher have any plans to re-release the Dark series with new covers in Australia? We who love an aesthetic love a matching cover!

Christine Feehan Hi Tina! Yes, some of the older books will be turned into audiobooks.
I'm not sure if Australia will get the new covers. It's two different publishers.

Hi Christine, Will there be anymore Leopard books? Also, does what you write depend only upon what your publisher asks for?

Christine Feehan I never know. I do write what the publisher requests.

Good day. Hope you ok. I have written some books and am not sure if it is ready to go public. How do you know when your book is ready?

Christine Feehan Only you can determine if it is ready. Be sure to have someone edit it for you. Maybe consider beta readers. Best of luck!

What’s one scene or moment in your book that you almost didn’t include, but now you’re glad you did?

Christine Feehan I'd have to say it's a recent book. There's a scene that I knew would be difficult to write. Difficult emotionally. I almost didn't write it, but in the end I did and it is now my favorite scene.
I believe I need to stay true to myself as a writer. Even if it feels difficult to do.

How do your travels influence your writing?

Christine Feehan I don't really travel anymore, though I did do some for research in the beginning. I've sent researchers to places like Romania or the Amazon to take very detailed notes for me. I think firsthand experience is important if you're able to do it.

Hi Christine, I've been an avid reader of all your series but the Dark and Ghost Walker series stayed with me as I matured. The different facades and layers of the characters are more loved. Recently, I have been finding myself returning to Dark Predator with Zacarius and Maguerite. I have been searching if Maguerite ever meets the rest of the De La Cruz team?

Hi Christine. While I'm trying to break the traditional format of writing to stand out as the book market is currently saturated, I intentionally published with a different format by removing chapters. Younger readers are really enjoying it, but traditional readers are criticizing my work. I'm really worried as two reviewers gave me 1 star. Book title is ONION: PRELUDE TO COLLAPSE . Do you think it's a risk as a newb?

Christine Feehan I would ask someone who is self-publishing. They'll know more about taking chances with formats, etc. I've had my publisher doing all the research and marketing for me since 1999.

Christine Feehan I have no idea. lol I am not technically savvy either. I have someone who helps with that.

I have enyoyed and completed the Carpatian series. Will you be writing about Gary's encounters and finally finding his true Lifemate???

Do you think you'll ever write the Torpedo Ink couples have kids? Was also going to ask about other member's getting a book, but I see you've already answered that. I'm hoping to see a book with Preacher and (I can't remember her name) the girl he always argues with. Anyway Thank you. I love the series I've bought every book so far.

Christine Feehan I'm currently writing a Torpedo Ink book in the evening. I'm writing a Dark book during the day.
I hope to write a book for each member.
As far as kids, I don't know who will have them or who won't. We'll see!

Christine Feehan Hello! I'm afraid I'm not really the person to ask. My publisher has done that for me since 1999. I recommend that you talk to a self published author. They are brilliant at marketing their books.

New Year. New books. Which new books are in the works? Destroyer and Elana maybe?

Christine Feehan Happy New Year, Eileen! I'm currently writing another Dark book and a Torpedo Ink. That's really all I can say at the moment. I don't like to give away too much until I'm pretty far into writing the book.
