First, I adore your fairy tale series. You have done a superb job with many of my favorites, (La Belle et Beast, Rumplestiltskin) and I plan to reread them because I liked them so very much. My question: Would you consider continuing the series into other countries (i.e. Japan, India, Africa, etc)? I have always loved fairy tales from around the world and I believe you would do an outstanding job. Thanks!

K.M. Shea Hi Treece! I am so happy to hear you like my Timeless Fairy Tales series! I can tell you that I have a few fairy tale spin off series planned already (such as a series for the Queen of Hearts). I too like fairy tales and other stories from around the world and I'm hoping to tackle some of the less "mainstream" ones someday but it will be many years before I can get to them. I hope you can enjoy the other books while you wait!

I don't have a question, just want to tell you I absolutely love love love all of your books. I love that they all have strong female characters and that there is so much humor in them! Every story gives me such a book hangover and I can't wait to read more :) Will there be more fairytale serie stories, since I have completely felt in love with all of the characters?

K.M. Shea Hi Anna, I'm happy to hear you like the Timeless Fairy Tales series. The final book (#11) is Snow White and will be released December 2018. However, the main series plot will conclude in a series about Angelique starting in 2019 (Angelique's story won't be based on a fairy tale, which is why she gets her own series).

You might be interested to know that you have a duplicate author entry as K. M. Shea (an extra space between the K. and M.) with only 7 books and no followers. Are you able to fix this?

K.M. Shea Thanks for the heads up! Sometimes things like that happen as other people add books to Goodreads. I've merged the two profiles now.

In a couple of the books it mentions the story about the girl in the glass coffin as a story told like the story of the snow queen. I'm wondering if that story will be coming out at all?

K.M. Shea Hi Kayla, wow you've really been paying attention as you read through the Timeless Fairy Tales series. Yes the Girl in the Glass Coffin will get her own series eventually (it will probably only be 2 or 3 books). But it will be several years before I write that story.

I have just started the Entwined Tales books. And am loving it! But I noticed that only a few are available in paperback form. Is there a chance that Goose Girl will ever be available in book form? It would be a nice addition to the other books on my shelf with beautiful covers! Thank you!

K.M. Shea Hi Stephanie! I'm glad to hear that you liked the Entwined Tales series and the Goose Girl book! At this time I don't have any plans to put A Goose Girl in paperback form - partly because it is a Novella, so it will have a really skinny binding and look kind of strange, and partly because I need to focus on my new projects right now.

Maybe in the future when things calm down I'll have a chance to go back to it, but I've been hoping for things to "slow down" for years and they never do because I always have new book ideas!

Hi, I found your Timeless Fairy Tale series this year and absolutely love them so far! I can't wait to get through them all as well as your other books. I was wondering, do you have any authors that inspired you to write about fairy tales?

K.M. Shea Hi Bec, I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying the Timeless Fairy Tale series! I was inspired by two authors: Diana Wynne Jones and Vivian Vande Velde. Both of them tell stories and explore fantasy worlds that are fairy tale like or feel like they belong in a fairy tale. I highly recommend checking out both of them if you are looking for more authors.

I have read all your books except for a few of teh timeless fairy tales and my favourites were King Arthur and her knights & MBRC. I was just wondering if you could make a sequel series too MBRC. Maybe one on Morgan's daughter who is the first female Pooka?

K.M. Shea Hi Sam, I'm glad you love Morgan and the gang from the MBRC! I do hope to one day return to the world and write a sequel series but it will be a few years before I can fit it into my writing schedule so unfortunately it will be a bit of a wait.

Do you have any plans to do East of the Sun West of the Moon or Allerleirauh? And is your upcoming Snow White retelling the last one before Angelique's story?

K.M. Shea Yes, Snow White will be the last book in the Timeless Fairy Tale series! Angelique's story isn't based on a "fairy tale" which is why I am starting with a new series for those even though they will contain the conclusion to the events of the Timeless Fairy Tale series.
I will continue to release more fair tale stories (like the Queen of Hearts) but at this time I don't have anything planned that retells East of the Sun, West of the Moon or Allerleirauh.

Is the" Enchantress in Training" ever going to get her own Story?

K.M. Shea Yes Angelique is getting her own series! Snow White will be available later in 2018, after that I will start writing a series for Angelique that reveals more about her past and what else she has been doing during the Timeless Fairy Tale series.

In your March newsletter, you mention some more freebies coming soon. I’m SO excited because I gobbled up Robyn Hood. You said that you didn’t know which BOOKS, but do you know which dates? Like, sometime this month or later in the year? Also, I LOVE Cinderella and the Colonel. Which of your books is the most similar to it, do you think?

K.M. Shea Hi Lenni! Enchanted and Beauty and the Beast will be free on March 20th! There will be other books available for free promotions later this year but I'm still trying to schedule things so I don't know the dates or the books yet. Once they are scheduled I'll announce them in my Newsletter and on my blog.

Do you have more specific dates (or months) when the last two books of the luckless series are coming out?

K.M. Shea Hi Carly! I am planning to release both books in early summer but I am still writing them so I can't be more specific than that until I'm farther along. Second my question I know you will be writing more of the Elves of Lessa, however I want so much to know more of the characters in the Red Rope of Fate. You have said that it is a standalone novel. Are you going to, or would you consider, a short story about the characters in Red Rope of Fate? Please?!

K.M. Shea The good news about the second book in the Elves of Lessa series, is that although it is a stand alone, Tari, Arion, the kings, and even Seer Ringali will all prominently feature in the second story! (You've already met both of the main characters, although the heroine you only saw very briefly.)

So while I'm not likely to write a short story, they'll be all over that novel so it will be even better! ;)

Did we ever get the short story about the Brett Incident and his breakup with Fran? Or is that still in the works (I need to know what happened!)?

K.M. Shea I'm still circling that series as I try to figure out what to do with it...I think I can fairly safely promise that one day it will be revealed in a short story. ;)

When is Snow White's story coming out?!

K.M. Shea December of 2018! (It might be a bit of a wait, but I'm tackling Angelique's story in early 2019, so you'll be getting a huge dose of Timeless Fairy Tales over the course of a year!)

Will the rest of Arcainian princes have their story? And what about this Princess Astra? The Enchantress...er, excuse me... the enchantress-in training- Evangilique will have hers too, right? If this is too many questions, just ignore me.... I'm quite excited after reading the Frog Prince! Oh, and there was several mentions of the Girl in the Glass Coffin- will you give her a story like you did Rakel? Thank you!

K.M. Shea I'm so glad you enjoyed Frog Prince, Christi-Anne! Yes, the Girl in the Glass Coffin will get her own spin off series once this current arch is done, as will Princess Astra and a few of the Arcainian princes.

The enchantress' story, however, will serve as the final book in this arch and will tie up the big plot!

Should the books in your Timeless Fairytales series be read in order? Or can they be read as standalones? :)

K.M. Shea That's a great question! Up until book 8, the Timeless Fairy Tales can be read in any order or enjoyed as stand alones. Book 8 and after, however, really shore up a continent-wide plot so they should be read only after all the other books!

Hey, I just finished the "King Arthur and her Knights" and I absolutely loved it! My favorite character there was Nymue (obviously), but I also started to like Lancelot towards the end... Is there a chance that you are going to write a short story or a book about him???

K.M. Shea He probably won't get his own book (I do feel like the King Arthurs series is done) but I am hoping to do more King Arthurs shorts in the future! (I love writing my extras, but unfortunately my writing schedule has been so crazy I haven't had much time to do that over the past year.)
