I also very much enjoyed The Word is Murder.

Daddy's Little Girl by Mary Higgins Clark
One for the Money by Janet Evanovich"
One fro the Money is a necessary entrance to the Stephanie Plum series, but I thought Two for the Dough was much better, as are several of the subsequent books--hilariously so.
I just finished The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. It was great. I am so glad that Lisa Jablonsky chose it. Also, Priscilla S. Guido chose Inferno by Dan Brown and Origin by Dan Brownthe next ones I want to read in the Robert Langdon!
Glad they are so popular.

From the late 1800s but still is great!
Some consider it the first ever mystery novel.
