Did anyone else find the people of Pala annoying, and the ending satisfying? Huxley's a genius (loved Brave New World and Point Counterpoint), but this was a chore. Murugan et al were basically straw-man antagonists. People say Pala is the utopia to counter BNW's dystopia, but maybe Huxley was really illustrating how rejecting the classic pillars of civilization that have allowed man to survive leads to downfall?

Creo que a esta novela le sobra por completo la primera mitad. Era cuanto menos aburrido, sin embargo la cosa se pone interesante cuando empiezan a explicar el funcionamiento de la isla, solo por eso ya merece mucho la pena leerlo. Ha sido solo mi impresión o a alguien más le ha pasado?
