Karyn M. Grice released her debut novel, What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas in November 2009. She originally self-published through her own publishing company, Grice Publishing which taught her the “business” side of publishing. While What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas is her first release, it is not her only novel. She has written 10 additional novels which are awaiting publication.

Early in her writing career, she entered a writing contest sponsored by J.L. King and much to her surprise, What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas placed as a finalist. This accomplishments lead to an introduction to Karen Hunter and a publishing contract with Karen Hunter Publishing. Karyn's second novel, No Strings Attached, is currently available and is published by Karen Hunter Publishing/Simon & Schuster.

With no formal writing background, Karyn was quite pleased to discover that writing came naturally. She enjoys writing relationships novels. Her “conversational style” writing attracts many non-readers and book clubs alike. What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas and No Strings Attached are realistic views of the struggles within a relationship with a universal appeal.

Karyn is an avid Lakers fan. She also enjoys football and baseball as well. Karyn resides in the Chicagoland area with her husband. She continues to grow creatively as she perfects her craft.

No Strings Attached is a story of making decisions and letting go. Jasmine and Sean believes that they both have their situations figured out.....they both want a no strings attached relationship but when they both relize they are in love and not lust thats when the games began...... This book was entertaining with well-developed characters.I found parts of the story to be repetitive...with the constant back and forth between the characters, even with that it still was a very GOOD read and you will find yourself wanting Jasmine and Sean to grow up and start acting how a 34yr old man and woman should.....Seems like there could be a sequel to this novel.....can't wait to read more from Ms. Grice...

Pretty good...sequel should be better. I see the potential of the new author. The essence of a love story is always good. The author does a good job of yo-yoing the emotions of the reader. You feel angry at times, sad at time, but you are always rooting for Jasmine and Sean to recognize, compromise and relinquish egos for the love they have for one another.

I Want Strings

Well, it’s official, Jasmine Taylor is in love! This would be a joyous occasion, but Jasmine is unsure how he, Sean Williams, feels about her. After the devastating conclusion of her last relationship, Jasmine vowed to keep it simple. Sex, no strings attached. It was a great arrangement for her and Sean, a handsome and wealthy music producer with women in different area codes, until Jasmine found herself wanting more. Will she work up the nerve to tell Sean how she feels? And will Sean feel the same?

“No Strings Attached” is a charming and enjoyable tale – predictable yet well written and smartly executed. The story unfolds in alternate narratives, allowing readers to connect with both Jasmine and Sean. Complementing the couple are other characters, including family and friends weighing in with their two cents and some adding drama.

Now having read and thoroughly enjoyed two novels by Karyn Grice, I look forward to what she has to offer next. Anyone looking for a grown and sexy read, sit back, kick off your shoes, and enjoy. “No Strings Attached” is well worth your time.

Can you say abrupt ending

Can you say abrupt ending

ok I liked the story it wasn't bad really a little to repetitive going back and forth finally looks like we are on the right trail with this couple to be thrown back again. Really Sean your a jerk, took you long enough to get it I think the Dr should have been better in bed with fireworks and Sean should have fought for her. Just a big let down it had the potential to get good but kept turning to much 2 stars was generous

This was an okay read. Jasmine and Sean were two of a kind. They did not want a serious relationship at first but then both fell in love with each other. Sean wanted to control Jasmine. Jasmine was wrong for sleeping with Michael to get back at Nicco because at the end of the day it made her look like a slut. Sean and Jasmine both were wrong for having several sex partners only because they were upset with each other. I was glad with the ending.......They were made for each other........

I didn't like how the English language was butchered by "lango" in this book. The author didn't even develop the characters correctly, not sure how this book is getting 4.5 stars, it was SO not a 4.5 star book.

I enjoyed the chsracters. It showed how people jump to conclusions and make assumptions about others without learning the full story. If we listen and let the other person explain themselves then we would have a better understanding of the situation
Things are not always as they seem.
