There is beauty in every kind of love, so why not live a life without boundaries? Experiencing everything the world offers fascinates me and writing about the things that make each of us unique is how I share those insights. I live in the Midwest with a wonderful partner of thirteen years. When not writing, I’m watching movies, reading and living life to the fullest.
Four Gold Rings is set between books two and three of the Love of Sports series. This short story takes place, of all places, at Garrett and Kasey's parents' house over the respective couple's first Christmas together. A sweet, enchanting free read, written in a contemporary style, T.A. finishes off loose threads from books one and two in this same series.
Without giving too much away, Gram and Garrett each have a special question to ask the significant other, Kasey and CJ respectively, in their lives.
I found it endearing through both couples' intimate moments, that each came to the same conclusion at around the same time; Garrett and Kasey's mum was going to have a field day with this. Funnily enough, none of the four was stupid enough to do anything but agree that the floor was hers to make this into whatever celebration she desired. Got to love mothers of boys!
Although short, T.A. still manages to find the heat and these boys sizzle just as much as in each of their own stories. You could read this one on its own, but honestly, there are a few things that won't make total sense. Plus, it'll just make you want to read the other books anyway! Nx
Awwwwwwww!!! Sappy holiday proposals of two of my favorite couples. Love it! This is really simple, short and sweet. Of course Gram and Garrett would have the same idea for their men for Christmas. I mean the twins need to keep things even after all.
CJ was just the sweetest this time around. I do love when he gets all sentimental. I expect it from Gram and Kasey, but not as much from CJ and Garrett.
This was a lovely finisher for these boys stories. :)
A pleasant interlude with the 2 couples from books 1 and 2 in this series. Ooooo, a double engagement... the guys make promises to each other with gold rings on Christmas as this short moves the series’ to an HEA. This was pretty sweet and works fine even if I haven’t yet read the series. Hey, a lot of smexy, sweaty lovin’ goes on around the holidays!
Why you ask are you talking about a 7 page free story? Sometimes I do. So there. But really, this cover so turns my crank in a major major way (and there's not even any naked man titty there). I would frame it. I just am totally in love, the font, the feel, the red balls. Sigh. Okay, this is a little freebie you can get at Samhellion. I think they are going to have a bunch of Christmas freebies so check it out everyday although not all are m/m. Anyway, this is a little short about Casey and Garrett (of Out of Bounds and High Line fame) and their men and four gold rings. LOL Not too hard to figure out but I'm one of those people who likes to revisit favourite characters so it's pleasing for me, pretty steamy and romantic. Oh yeah and did I mention that cover?
A beautiful holiday short story of love, romance and blossoming commitment between four of our favorite characters from the previous Love of Sports novels. If you haven't read books 1 Out of Boundsand 2 High Line, this one won't mean much to you, but for fans of the series it's icing on the cake of romance!
I didn't realise this was an appetizer to a series. Definitely something I would enjoy reading more had I actually read the previous books. Not rated since it wouldn't be fair.
