omg i forgot i could do that and i have the app 😅

I’m not some moral high ground police. I will freely admit I pirate big corporations video games. But pirating from authros is different, especially when most authors don’t get paid much.
Here is everywhere I get free books:
- Library! Libby is great, Hoopla is good, the in person library is good, and my library has a state wide app that is digital books as well. See what services your library offers. I also have a library card to an out of state library I got free (and legally) that gives me tons of options.
- YouTube has some free audiobooks. Be careful though because sometimes people upload these without authors consent.
- if you use kindle, a lot of indie authors often have their books for free. Subscribe to some book deal email services like freebooksy or bookbub.
- Little free libraries, thrift/charity stores, garage sales. These places often have free books to get, and I’ve found a lot of gems at all three.
- Free trial for Kindle Unlimited or Everand.
- NetGalley has arcs you can read and review early (if you’re 18+, I think).
