I love that the production committee called themselves "Seisaku iinkai wa itsumo kedaruge" (The production committee is always listless). Are you sure it's alright for you guys to be listless!? xD |

| Kind of boring, it was cool that Ota was more of a supporting character and not the type of character who would hit Tanaka for always being sleepy. It's a nice change of pace but episode 1 did nothing for me. |

| Was a ridiculous fun watch as well as very relaxing. In love with Tanaka. It was one of the anime I was most looking forward to this Spring season and it definitely delivered. 5/5 for this ep. |

| I almost skipped this due to homoerotic undertones, but DAMN did it make me laugh. I haven't had this good a laugh from an anime since the best few episodes of Shomin Sample, and before that, Nichijou and NouCome, this is absolute cream of the comedy crop. But please don't go full gay on me. |

| Loved the episode, pretty funny as well. This and Sakamoto is so refreshing to watch. Tanaka is cute, and his voice is a panacea for my soul. |
| I really liked the interactions between Ohta and Tanaka, and I hope to see more of these kinds of things. I thought the way Tanaka influenced the actions of those around him, while not doing anything in particular, was the biggest selling point of the first episode. |

| LOL, rather this show makes me want to sleep XD overall it was a relaxing,enjoyable,funny episode XD the first time i saw the comedy, suddenly Nichijou came up into my mind. tbh, the comedy was pretty similiar to Nichijou. it was a really great animation from Silver Link btw. i like it a lot. That ending.....looking foward to it X3 |

| Oh no, I can hear the Tanaka x Ohta dojinshi's being printed already... god help us... In all seriousness, pretty good episode. I don't know if this will keep my interest for 12 episodes due to it's insanely lax tone, but it's certainly capturing it's tone very well. The art was easy on the eyes, and the ost is already a standout. Whether or not you will like this show, however, is almost entirely based on if you like Tanaka as a character. I personally have to take at least one 30-60 minute nap break everyday, so I can definitely relate to his character in terms of sheer laziness. And his dialogue on stuff like being the main protagonist was pretty interesting, especially considering that, well, he IS the main protagonist. Also, I lol'd at the poster saying that volume 32 of what is presumably the equivalent of Hunter x Hunter is out. It probably isn't, but it's a lot funnier if I interpret that as Shinya Kawatsura taking a pot shot at Togashi for not releasing a HxH volume in 3 or so years. |

| I always thought I was a rather lazy kind of person, but this Tanaka dude takes it to a whole new level by refining the concept into a unique, groundbreaking kind of artform. That in itself is so hilariously impressive I can't help but feel like his friend Oota and respect this young man for being so much better at doing nothing than everyone else. I mean, his listlessness is so contagious I actually fell asleep a mere five minutes in! Made the episode all the more enjoyable when I woke up and got around to finishing it. In all seriousness, I really appreciate the healing and cosy vibes this anime got going for it, as well as the awkward unexpectedly funny humour. Tanaka-kun is hands down one of the most adorable protagonists of the season (along with Deku from BnHA), and pretty much goes to show that cuteness isn't the preserve of highschool girls. This is why I really hope @Red_Keys 's prediction is wrong and that the incoming influx of female characters won't signify a departure from the show's current tone. In any case, very first positive impressions: it doesn't seem like the type of show I would see myself marathoning, but a small, 24 minute long, weekly dose of complete faineancy ain't never hurt nobody (expect your wrists, I think). |

| Well i'm normally not into guys, but i really like Tanaka... reminds me of, well, me. But not entirely, i do have an epic side to me, but yeah i extremely relate to that wanting to just fell and appreciate small bliss in the moment.. simple, relaxing, appreciating nature. I'd be lying if i said i didn't wish Tanaka was a girl instead, but that's fine. The warm(sunny) colour palette and open environments are really nice too. I wish my schools had that much window in them... Ps: don't disturb someone laying under a tree, that is like the ultimate springtime bliss. That girl at the end, such an enthusiastic stare, made me really happy for some reason. I love girls in love XD |

| Watching this sleepy, laidback guy being a... sleepy, laidback guy almost put me to sleep during the first half of the episode, but I somehow got a hang of it during the second half. I was expecting this girl to be some fujoshi who got all sparkly-eyed and blushy-wushy watching Ohta fussing over Tanaka and carrying him home but going by the preview for the next episode, it turned out I was wrong. |
