Ten years ago, Braelyn Haralson made a sacrifice that shattered both her and her mate. Back with a vengeance, Saint Kingsley demanded justice and vowed to break her by any means necessary.
Saint was a hot alpha with good intentions, but there were times I wanted to strangle him for being obtuse. Braelyn faced harrowing challenges, yet she stood tall through it all.
I loved the world the author presented, with various characters that seemed to tie into her other series. However, the book could use a little more background because some things felt unclear without prior context. There was also a certain dynamic that was teased but never explored. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the overall story with plenty of varied and interesting characters.
Alpha’s Claim is a story of endurance and retribution. It would appeal to readers who enjoy rejected mate paranormal romance.

It had been two months since his banishment to the human realm, and elven prince Sylvan Goldweed was still struggling to adjust. The moment he saw Hawk Coleman, he knew the beastly fugitive could be his ticket back to the Nocturne Court. But neither of them realized a simple exchange could permanently change their lives.
I was intrigued by Sylvan in the previous book, and I'm glad with how the author did his story justice. I loved the dynamics between him and Hawk with how they were similar but in different ways. The sexual chemistry between them sizzled, but most importantly the love between them was palpable despite their fast-moving relationship.
I want to be his rock, the one he turns to when the world crumbles around him. And I want to make sure he remains safe when he’s under my protection.
The storyline was exciting and enjoyable with the author's signature humor while also delivering emotional moments that added depth to the characters.
The Shadow Prince's Ruin is a story of sacrifice and self-reflection. It would appeal to readers who enjoy sexy MM fantasy romance.

As the kingdom slowly returned to normal, Zabriel and Isavelle treated the people of Maledin to a grand celebration. But beyond the revelry, the enemies crept closer, threatening to rip away everything they fought for.
This book moved slowly for me until the final 15%, where the tension finally peaked. I felt a lot of it was fluff and focusing too much on other characters (that I loved) who vastly overshadowed the main characters. Certain scenes also ended up anticlimactic. Kane and the wild flare were my favorite parts of the book.
The Flame King’s Queen is a story of empowerment. It’s the conclusion of Zabriel and Isavelle’s story.

Dr. Georgia Clark and her team were racing against time to develop a vaccine for a devastating plague sweeping the world. But the disease wasn’t the only threat to humanity as the vampires were systematically eradicating the species. Now a captive of the vampire lord, Valen Dragonis, her survival depended on the knowledge locked inside her mind.
Valen was more than he seemed with his vicious, mysterious persona and dripping sex appeal. Georgia struggled with her circumstances, forced to question everything she thought she knew.
I am not the same person I used to be. No longer Doctor Georgia Clark, do no harm, help everyone no matter their situation. I’m something else, something that survives in the deep, deep dark.
This one was definitely an intriguing read even though the plot progression was a little slower than I preferred. I loved the atmosphere and the horror elements of the story, especially the dynamics between the two species.

The story was decent, with all the typical shifter dynamics. While I wished for more intensity between the main characters, I did enjoy the addition of an external conflict that added some extra stakes.

I loved the idea behind this story, especially with the dynamics between the characters, including the side characters. However, my interest dwindled as the technical issues increased and the story plateaued.

As a princess of Harbor Kingdom, Marra found more solace in the quiet, unassuming life of a convent than the grandeur of the palace. But when she found out her sister’s life was in danger, she was determined to turn the situation around, come what may.
The story has a dark undertone but is actually a light-hearted read. It started a bit slow, but thankfully, the excitement increased towards the end.
What I liked the most about this book is how Marra, an incredibly ordinary heroine, rounded up a motley crew of unlikely allies for a seemingly impossible task. It was interesting learning their backgrounds and abilities.

Freshly out of a long-term relationship, Sonya (Sunny) Bancroft was ready to explore her deepest desires. An appointment with Monster Smash Agency brought her to Khell'ar, an orc with sensual prowess. But what was supposed to be a temporary arrangement quickly evolved into something more.
I was excited to dive into this one. Unfortunately, I struggled to keep my attention throughout most of the book. 90% of the book is pure smut with minimal plot. It got tiring and repetitive very quickly.
My toes lifted from the ground completely, and gravity forced Khell so deep inside of me, I thought I lost the use of my lungs.
Part of the problem is this book is originally a serial on the author’s Patreon. While it works in small doses, it becomes tedious as a full-length read. One saving grace was the primal play scene, which was scorching.

Mickey Bloom barely escaped a horrifying encounter with one monster, only to find that an even more dangerous creature, Rhett Royals, was lurking in the shadows.
When it comes to monster romance, I want the monster to be monstrous with special features. This book delivered on that front. I liked how the storyline touched on literal and metaphorical aspects of it.
Would my mate ever come to me awake or will I have to fuck her and breed her every time her eyes close?
Rhett was a five-in-one monster combo with a special electrified appendage. His brutish appearance and behavior give him an edge, but he was also sweet in his own way. Mickey had been through a lot and I liked seeing how he overcame her issues.
Snapdragons is a story of overcoming adversities. It would appeal to readers who enjoy hurt/comfort monster romance.

Five years after the tragedy that claimed his life, Lanston Nevers was still searching for peace. He couldn't quite understand what kept him tethered to this world—until he met Ophelia Rosin. She brought him a glimmer of hope, yet the darkness she carried threatened to destroy them.
I loved Lanston in The Fabric of Our Souls and I usually don’t like a spin-off of my favorite character. But the unique twist of him being a ghost intrigued me, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. The story is sad and depressing, yet uplifting.
He gave me a piece of him so easily, so carelessly, but I’m not sure if I’m ready for him to see how ugly I am on the inside.
My heart ached for Lanston with how he longed for Wynn and Liam. I’m glad to see he had his other friends, but it was bittersweet too. I liked how Ophelia has her own struggles and insecurities. They were two lost souls meant for each other.
A Ballad of Phantoms and Hope is a story of acceptance and forgiveness. It would appeal to readers who enjoy slow burn, dark paranormal romance.

This book is enjoyable and easier read than I expected. I liked the characters and the world, especially with the magic systems and the monsters. However, I did feel the plot progression was slow until the story got more exciting around 70% onwards.
“I wonder what sounds will spill from your lips when your thighs are trembling against my palms and your sweet nectar wets my tongue.”
I love underdog characters and Maevyth was the epitome of one. It’s interesting to see how she learned to adapt even though curiosity and stubbornness led her into trouble. Zevender had his own fair share of issues since childhood, and he turned it around to be what he was today.
Anathema is a tale of determination and readjustment. It would appeal to readers who enjoy dark, gothic fantasy romance.

This one is delightfully romantic, blended with the author's signature darkness and humor, making for an engaging read. I loved the world, the court drama, the actions and the monsters.
I know what it means to be left wanting. I know how it hurts to be ignored.
Kyran was amusing and considerate as he navigated the unknowns of Luke’s world. Luke was understandably doubtful, yet open to new possibilities. Their chemistry was palpable, and one particular sexy scene was quite exquisite.

He was a tortured soul, and I desperately wanted to soothe it for him. If only he would just give me a chance.
There was no lull in the story. However, there were too many things crammed in for something so short that they didn’t get enough depth. Despite this, I enjoyed the characters and the overall story.

While Enosh embraced ruthlessness, he was also very human with his pain and vulnerabilities. Ada was brave and selfless, but at times put herself at risk. I liked both of them, and the supporting characters were also interesting.
