I just loved Wade's grumpy vibe and his dirty talk, geeeez louise I was swooning. Wade and Ivy are the definition of the perfect couple and I am so happy for them. May every woman find a grump like Wade to make her melt and satisfy her in all ways possible.
As the blurb states: "She’s chaos and he’s control, but it doesn’t take long for the levee to break and their passion to ignite." and ignite it did. I am immediately adding this authors works to my current and future TBR.
Aside from the spicy scenes I also really liked each character and their backstory and I think this book couple is realistic and relatable.

While I did suspect one person of being behind Lauren's disappearance, I was thrown for a loop and was still surprised by the ending. Plenty of twists and turns without getting too convoluted to follow along. This one is pretty fast paced and will have you flipping the pages or listening until you can't anymore. As a parent, this book may make you ponder what you would do if your child was being held hostage with some outrageous demands. I was on the edge of my seat.
The only thing I wish would have been different was the daughter's POV. I wish we would have gotten more from that angle but I understand the author's decision based on the events in the book.
The audiobook narrator Eilidh Beaton has a wonderful narration tone and pace.

There were a lot of twists and turns and I was trying to figure this one out right until the end. I thought some of it was a bit coincidental and slightly over the top but this was a good read and I'll definitely check out other works by this author.
The audio narration done by Tamsin Kennard was superb. I loved the voices, the accents and the pace.

The main characters Margot and Forrest are wonderfully written and I liked their character arc's. I felt bad for Margot in the beginning after being cancelled and I wasn't sure how she was going to come back from that, but I think it's done well and I love that Forrest was right there with her the whole time. Also, the fact that Forrest downloaded and read her books on his kindle was the cutest thing I've ever heard. The chemistry between these two was palpable.
Great read from a debut author and I'm looking forward to reading more of their work!

The psychological aspect of this book threw me for a loop and I cannot even imagine having to deal with something like that. I am glad they were able to work through everything and got their happily ever after of sorts.
I did feel like this book was a bit slower than the first, but it definitely ramps up as the book goes on and you will not want to put it down.

The pace of the story is a bit slow but if you are in the mood for a slower book, this one will be perfect. I have always been interested in mermaids and I love the lore behind them so this was a fun, interesting read. Haunting, mysterious, sorrowful and hopeful.
I am happy that I listened to the audio version of this book because the narrator, Barrie Kreinik does a wonderful job of narrating. I do wish this one had multiple narrators so that we could have had more than one voice, but still, job well done.

This book has a lot of pomp & circumstance, plenty of drama and a plethora of unlikeable characters all set within a glamorous backdrop. I do think a the majority of people enjoy this one but it was a little off the mark for me.

I didn't hate it, I didn't love it and I feel like I will forget about it in about 2 days. That being said, there were plenty of twists and turns and I finished it quite quickly. I appreciate the dual timelines but I preferred the 1986 timeline as I felt it was more flushed out. I didn't really like Cassie or Nicole and that may have had something to do with the fact that I gave this one 3 stars. I also hated the fact that Nicole and her husband turned on each other instantly. Like...where is your loyalty to one another? Aren't you married? Anyway, this one was just ok for me.

The fae world was described really well and I liked the descriptions of the different types of beings. The story to me was a bit slow and I kept thinking, when is something going to happen?! I felt there was a lot of buildup and the fact that the entire book takes place in just days was maddening to me. I can tell that many readers will love this one and while I cannot say I loved it, I did enjoy it and thought it was an interesting and engaging story.

But, if you are looking for a slower paced, slice of life type book about reconnecting with family and getting to know yourself, this one will hit the mark. This is a book that I can see will be adored by many readers but on the flipside, I could see readers not giving it the chance it deserves due to the slower pace and the sense of ambiguity relating to a couple of matters.
Certain scenes reminded me of the tv show "The Bear" with a Korean flair.
I really enjoyed this little novel and even though I'm not a sushi person I can appreciate the art a bit more now.

This is how you do a small town, friends to lovers, cowboy romance. Wyatt is literal perfection and I will not hear any different on the matter. Not only that, we have Sally who is a strong, independent, female lead and I really enjoyed her character.
I really loved how Wyatt and Sally support each other 100%. They are both so willing to go out of their way to make the other one happy. The fact that they were supposed to be fake dating and neither one of them could stick with the plot was so funny. They just couldn't deny their feelings for one another and I was giggling and kicking my feet. Also, the steamy scenes were *chef's kiss* out of this world. Sensual, steamy, seductive and swoony. I couldn't get enough.
I cannot wait to read Sawyer's book!

This is so unhinged and I ate it up (no pun intended) in one sitting. The title says claiming Sarah but I also feel like she claimed him so, you know, it's mutual. It's completely unrealistic and off the wall, just how I like my fictional men. Looking forward to reading the next one. This is definitely on the darker side so please check trigger warnings before reading.

It was silly and flirty and sexy and then wait a second?? What the heck? I was thrown off by a particular event in this book and I felt it was totally unnecessary to include. The event does not involve the main characters directly but it does affect them and while I guess I can somewhat see why the author added it, I was not a fan and feel like it could have been left out. I will say that overall I did really enjoy this book and I liked Ben and Mabel individually and as a couple. I liked how they were both accepting of each other 100% without judgement and they were both very supportive.
