It was mainly sex: no plot, no romance development. Their relationship is based on sex. Repetitive, cheap-porn-like sex. They become addictive to each other. I love stories with lots of sex scenes, but (most of the time) I also want deep and palpable emotions.
The story is told from dual, third person viewpoint. This ‘thing’ between them seems unhealthy. There is a quite big age gap, but mainly their behavior what makes the relationship unbalanced. The ‘master’ thing is thrown in the story but never developed.
How could he explain when it barely made sense in his own head? He wanted to be owned without being shackled. He craved to be used without being punished. He needed a master, but he needed to feel free. He would lie down at his man’s feet if he could be sure he wouldn’t get stepped on.
Christoffer keeps calling Adam ‘a boy.’ The word ‘boy’ appears more than 70 times, the term ‘his boy’ 19 times, and there are many times ‘his dream boy’, ‘my boy’, ‘my/his sweet beautiful boy’, ‘my good sweet boy’, ‘his beloved boy.’ Oh, and there are 34 ‘young man’ and 21 ‘big man.’
I don’t mind the age gap, but the heavy emphasis on it never let me forget it. Even in the last line:
“You’ll stay?” “Yeah,” his boy breathed, and Christoffer tightened his hold on him.

Lovely office romance with a cute, clueless redhead assistant, Eric and his perfect, beautiful boss, Beau. Eric has been crushing on Beau for ages, but he’d never thought it’d be mutual. There is a little non-communication but not much, and a very sweet and hot HEA (desk-sex!!).

All or Nothing is the story of John and Mark. John is 45 and his ten-year relationship has ended recently. Mark is 25 and he was John’s neighbor when he was 15 and even then he had a huge crush on John. When Mark spots John in a bar, he immediately makes a move on him, but John doesn’t want to get involved because of the age difference.
It’s a wonderful slow-burn romance: it takes John months to realize how he feels for Marc, and to be able to set aside the age difference.

I usually have no problem with age gap, but Nick felt and behaved about sixty not the thirty-seven he actually was.
Actually the thought of being seen out with Sam was less than appealing. Nick knew the looks they'd get. Sam and his sugar daddy out on the town. Nick sighed…
I didn’t get what Sam saw in him, and where the romance came from.
… his dream. A BMW E30 M3. Diamond Black. Thirty-grand worth of pure classic cool. And it was worth every penny. Because when he heard the indecent purr the engine made when he put his foot to the floor, he was Nico, all round badass, motherfucking pimp. He smiled to himself. Well maybe not quite. But at least he wasn't Nick, thirty-seven-year-old divorced gay dad of a kid that hated him.

Sam was a great character, and there were some fun moments.
So, what we doing later?" "Umm, well I thought you could fuck my brains out? Or I can fuck your brains out if you'd prefer. It's your birthday after all." He paused for a moment. "Or we can do both if you like." Now, this was a birthday.

Adorable characters, sizzling, undeniable chemistry, and steamy storyline. Recommended!

The present storyline is intersected with Peter’s flashbacks, just like in the previous installments. Peter’s recall of the fire is still heartbreaking, but the ones of Stiles are adorable and made me smile. Peter and Stiles’ past connections create a nice background to their blooming relationship.
The sex scene is spectacular – the best way to greet the new year! ;)
Holidays with Steter is a wonderful serial. Highly recommended! Even if you are a Sterek fan, you won’t be disappointed.

Peter’s head swims, and he has to concentrate to keep his claws retracted. His wolf is alert, close to the surface, whining. It wants to scent, to rut, to bite, but Peter’s no unpredictable teenager. He knows how to keep the wolf on its leash. He won’t hurt Stiles. He was a monster once, but not tonight. Not in this moment, with this boy, with the unimaginable, underserved gift that is Stiles.

After an unforeseen and painful breakup, Cat joins her parents on their annual trip to Tuscany to recover. She has not much time for brooding over her unfaithful ex-girlfriend and the perfectly planned tour around the Greek Islands she missed as an unexpected summer romance blossoms.
I chuckle and think life could be worse than being stuck with a gorgeous woman, in a convertible on an Italian country road, on the way to a winery. Perhaps it’s even better than Lesbos.
Light and sweet story, but the romance is rushed, too early after Cat’s breakup. And I expected more hotness; for my taste, the erotic scenes are dainty and soft rather than passionate and steamy. ...more

And seriously, tagged as humor?? It never made me smile, let alone laugh. It made me eye-roll, angry, annoyed, exasperated, and bored.
The story is filled with clichés, melodramatic dialogues and inner monologues. The epilogue is over the top sappy.

Josh has only known Rad three days, but he already moved in with him in Moab, Utah. Josh still struggles with his age issues, and Rad’s hot ex living next door and determined to win Rad back doesn’t help his insecurities. His concerns about the age difference between him and Rad are heightened even more.
I still don’t get where the love comes from, I really dislike non-communication, and (view spoiler)[public love confession/proposal (hide spoiler)] is a true pet peeve of mine.
There were some sweet moments, and I usually love Marie Sexton’s stories, but this one is not my favorite. (view spoiler)[
“I asked if you thought marriage and long-term commitment were outdated ideas, and you said yes.” “That’s because they are outdated ideas. So what? So are CDs, and I still buy those!” Now it was my turn to be confused. “CDs are outdated?” “Of course they are!” “Then how am I supposed to buy music?” “MP3s, for fuck sake!” “I just finished replacing all my cassettes.”

“You want to have sex?” “What?” He shrugged. “Just a question.” “Jesus! I don’t even know you!” “So?”
The story has so much potential with great writing style and humor, but it didn’t manage to get me engaged enough. I liked Rad but was tired of Joshua’s age issues.

God, the dance. I love it and hate it at the same time. It’s good to be moving, interpreting the music, trying to find beauty in each note. It’s hard to do when dollar bills are littering the shined stage.

One night he meets Zeke, a friend of his boss and friend Luca. Zeke seems to know everything about Tevin by the stories he had heard by Luca, and he is already half in love with Tevin: he wants to treasure and protect him.
At this point I was worried a little because of the possibility of a rushed relationship, the big age-gap, their physical differences, but it worked out really smooth. Zeke is perceptive and not at all pushy, and Tevin, despite his immediate attraction to the gentle giant, is pretty strong-minded and a lot tougher than I supposed.
Plus point for the HFN ending.

So overall I’m pretty satisfied with this story. Too bad it’s short.

It’s Christmas, and Peter hates Christmas.
Peter lay under the tree, blinking through the dust storm of glitter and of glass reduced to powder, with a pine needle jammed up his nostril. If Peter hates Christmas, it’s not really his fault. Christmas started it.

The structure of these stories is remarkable: the narrative alternates between flashbacks and current events.
The one sex scene is beautiful and super hot.
“You are beautiful,” he says. And not just the way he lies there, burning with heat and need, and trusting Peter to know what to do with him. He’s beautiful in a hundred other ways, a thousand.
