I loved this book a lot.Their relationship is not your typical love story.It wasn’t even clear if it was love or not.I have to admit that the author's writing style is absolutely amazing.Everything is so detailed and beautiful written.Nothing that you can predict will happen. This is a book that I'd definitely recommend , not only to those who love captive stories but to everyone.

Lou has to work for Will and in the beginning things are very difficult for both of them . Given the circumstances Will is all the time cranky, rude , vile to her because his life is miserable. However, they start getting along because Lou is the only person who contradicts him and that's something intriguing for him . There are times that he is such a tease and it was nice to know that after so long he finally seems happier .
After a while we see that due to his state Lou doesnt want to leave him alone , much less quit her job . Will inevitably manages to become part of her life and her daily routine . Sadly , Will is hiding something . He is an adult and he has the right to do whatever he wants with his life but damn I dont know if I agree with his thoughts. Wouldnt it be selfish to stop him? Of course it would be but still it doesnt feel right. If I were him I might wanted to do the same but if I had someone like Lou caring for me I dont think that I would consider it like an option anymore .
Well, Lou is trying to stop him from doing anything crazy and I really admire that she is the only person that hasnt lost faith on him.
She has only six freaking months to change his life but she never thought that he would change her life as well .
I loved Will! He is one of the smartest book heros I've ever met. “You only get one life. It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.” I felt sorry and bad for him . NO!This book is unique and very depressing but you'll never regret reading it.
Lou is simply wonderful!She is trying so hard , with gallant efforts to help him and she deserves a million congratulations.No one forced her to stay with him but she did. She had the right to leave him but she didnt. She's full of exuberance which affects him possitively .

Gemma never thought that a friendly stranger could harm her.The story begins when she is in a coffee shop at the airport.There she spots a familiar face but she cant remember whether she has seen him again or not.This beautiful blond guy with those mesmerizing eyes approaches her.He is gentle and he buys her a coffee.However things didnt turn in her favor.Obviously Ty had other plans , for both of them.
The one moment she is speaking to him , the next she wakes up in a deserted place.

I'm sure you dont want anyone’s pity so no pities are given.You had been through to so many difficult situations and yet you managed to stay on your feet.You seemed happy.You were smiling .You seemed content but we have now conluded to the fact that you were the best actress. I'm not accusing you for lying, I'd never do that. You were only pretending because you actually cared about the people you loved. You were always the best for this. Unfortunately we are humans and we have boundaries. You were strong enough for so many years but you met your crux point.You couldnt take it anymore and many will blame you for being a coward.On the other hand there is also a handful of people who will think that you were brave to take a decision like this.Sadly,I dont think I belong to either of these groups. This journey had its ups and downs but I never thought that it would end in this way .I'm really glad I read these books because characters as Livvie should be mimicked. What I mean is that even though she was manipulated so badly she managed to stay strong on her feet again. It was difficult to forget him , to erase her past but what about Caleb? This book has all the answers about these two people. I'm very happy that the author decided to write the Epilogue . If she hadn’t I'm sure I'll still be wondering how they would deal with their lives.

This book introduces us the world of the Arums. They are different from the Luxens and they fight in order to protect the humans and their kind. Yet , like in every species , some arums kill just for fun.
Hunter “That´s an alien. I´m an alien. We´re aliens. Aliens everywhere, acutally, which is why we have to leave. I´m sure someone called the police by now.” [image]
Serena “Never in my life had I been more frustrated. Go figure it wouldn't be with a human but a freaking alien. At least I now knew that the male species were asses no matter what planet they hailed from.” [image]
Serena’s best friend had the misfortune to be dating a Luxen . An argument that she eavesdropped costs her , her life . She talks with Serena about what she saw but Serena only thinks that her friend is going nuts. Seriously , they were fighting and then turned into lighting humans ? Who would believe this story ? Apparently no one , neither our book heroine . It is known that you don’t believe something until you witness it with your own eyes . In this case it was too late . Bad never felt so good
He is arrogant and harsh. A human’s life is not important to him but the DOD forces him to babysit one. Unwittingly he obeys but he never thought that this human would change his life . When they meet each other for the first time I couldn’t stop grinning . Hunter is one of the cockiest and most arrogant heros ever , which of course is not bad at all. He pisses her off all the time with his attitude . There are times that you will want to punch him.
“Are you done acting like a psychotic, cracked-out Muppet baby?" he asked, and I could tell by the way his fingers spasmed around my wrists, he really wanted to shake me. "Or do you need a couple more moments to return to sanity? I have all day. And you actually feel kind of good under me, so take your time.”
He is unbelievable and that’s the reason I love him . Well , almost… It’s hard not to fall for Mr. Six-pack heaven.

Things between them start getting more complicating. Hunter , like a typical male , cant hold himself back and with every opportunity flirts with her . Hahaha Hunter is not so much a flirting type . I knocked her out . Again . Aw fuck. Even a simple kiss is dangerous for her if he doesn’t control himself . Taking control is difficult though because humans are little snacks for the Arums . He doesn’t give up though , he is willing to try again and again.
One of the best things about Hunter except from his hands *wink* (What??He likes wood crafting!!) is that he is also a great cook. Oh yes! Both hot and talented .
My brother gave me shit about it , so did Dex. Fuck them I was a great cook.
Hunter is there to protect her but what happens when the government wants you dead? When everyone wants the worst for you? He will kill every bastard that will appear in his way in order to protect her.
That’s what I liked about him . He is fierce and devoted. He doesn’t give a rats a@@ when it comes to her safety . The funny thing is that Serena has already admitted to herself that she (view spoiler)[loves him (hide spoiler)] but she cant understand his motives . Why he is putting his life on danger for her . Why are you helping me? No one knows why , neither Hunter . It is wrong in all ways to help her . His job is over after all.
Why I loved Hunter: OMG his arrogance knows no bounds . Sometimes I was like *giggles* “He didn’t say that , did he?” He is so dangerous that in his way are only lying the dead bodies of Luxens . Serena wakes up unprecedented feelings to him . Ha one of the funniest moments was when he woke up in the middle of the night and caught himself cuddling . For him it is too human-ish and shows weakness .
Fav quote: ”Your arrogance is rooted in stupidity.” “And your lifespan is getting shorter by the second.” Never , piss him. I’m serious , bad things happen when he’s pissed.
Why I loved Serena: She is both shy and smart . I liked the fact that she accepted Hunter and who he was . She was always encouraging him to turn into his true form . It wasn’t scary for her and it meant a lot to Hunter . She is a strong girl , not a badass though. I love the fact that she managed to bring Hunter’s best behavior out. When I was reading this book I thought that a good soundtrack would be Etostone - Together ft. Jason McKnight

The truth is that after so many years she is truly enjoying her life .She is carefree and she has friends , nevertheless her past will always remind her of what happened.

Kayden will surprise you a lot. Under this tough looking guy there is something more deep and broken. [image] You will feel really bad about him. My heart was breaking every time he was talking about his past or when he was living one of those horrible moments. Callie is there to help him bust she can’t protect him from everything. [image] This is one of the best books I've ever read .Their story is so beautiful. It's not unrealistic or too dramatic. Personally I didnt get the feeling that too many calamities were happening so as to annoy me. Callie and Kayden are almost the same from the inside and they try to protect each other.

It's not easy to open up but they do their best. Yet some secrets are better to stay hidden , at least for the moment. [image] [image]

omg omg omg omg that was an awesome book !! I think I almost cried at the last chapters bcz I thought patch was dead , fortunately it had a happy end :-) but a lovely person "sacrificed" his life for Nora!
Well in this book Nora must leads the Nephilims and win the war between them and the fallen angels!During the whole book Nora is being helped by Dante (who isn't really worth trusting) and patch(who's doing everything to protect her)!!

I dont want to review this book!I just cant!I've only slept three hours today because I HAD TO finish it!I needed to know how it ends and when that moment arrived I cried my eyes out.

Lochie's and Maya's love is doomed from the beginning.They are siblings and it is against the law to have an affair.What they feel may be considered as twisted or even sick but in this case you cant even feel disgusted by the events.While she is looking back to her life all she can see is Lochan.Under other circumstances they would have never fell for each other.Their life has always been difficult and they never acted like children.Their drunk mum loaded them her responsibilities while she decided to relive her "teen" years and have fun with her boyfriend like she's in highschool.That leaves Lochan and Maya to take care of their youngest siblings.As you can see they act more like parents instead of siblings.

They have to take care of a self-destructive 13 year old boy,Kit who never experienced the true maternal love,Tiffin and Willa who will do anything to draw their mum's attention but like always she's too busy to occupy herself with her kids.
Their attempts to keep the family alive are futille but they manage to find a way and stop falling apart.
Lochan is probably the most broken person of the family.His ongoing battle with the world around him is wearing him off.He has fears, he feels lonely but he is not.At the end of the day Maya will always erase his pain because she is the only one who can understand him.Her compasion and the way she loves him make me feel grateful that they have each other. However they cant be together.They have already broken too many rules..The fear of their illegal actions coming to surface haunts them every day but they are in love,they dont hurt anyone,right?It's amazing how this story does not feel wrong at all.They try together to survive and face the ghastly face of life.

The story is heart wreching.Every chapter left me with tears not only becasue their mum was a total idiot but also because their love was so heart warming.I was living it with them.I was feeling every emotion that Lochan and Maya felt*praises the dual POV*.
About the ending.... Read it and you'll see...

OMG this book was amazing . Even though I was reading the same story being in Travis head was an amazing experience .
Travis for the first time in his life is getting overwhelmed by a girl. She is brave , intelligent and beautiful but he knows that she is hiding something from him. In the beginning his only purpose is to get into her pants but she made it clear to him.She wants to be only his friend.
Obviously, the friend-thing never works . The more they spend time together , the more he is falling in love with her. Abby is innocent and damaged and he is scared to date her because she is different.
She's different , Shepley. She's good.
However Travis has learned a few things in his life. Love hard. Fight harder. [image]
He is willing to change for her and fight to win her love. The change is not easy when you have to compete someone like Parker but when you have an ally like America nothing is impossible.
You Mad Dog are exactly what I came here to protect from. .... Even with your epic fuck up , you might just be what she needs.
Travis is hot tempered and impulsive.Being with Abby is what he needs and even if he hasnt admited his feelings for her it is pretty obvious that he is madly in love with her. Here is the part where Abby annoyed me. They were acting like a couple and yet she wouldnt admit it that she loved him. [image]

Walking disaster and beautiful disaster will stay with me forever. It's hard to forget Travis and Abby after these books. I cried , I laughed , I loved Travis and I'm really glad that I read these books.
