** spoiler alert **
3 1/2 stars.
I liked this book, but I didn't love it. It did have flaws, but overall the story was interesting.
Julia, however, was a bit annoying as a heroine. She was really wishy/washy and a bit childish over the whole Robin thing and she behaved like my least favorite type of character - risking the lives of others over her stupidity and stubbornness. She also seemed quite naive - someone has murdered her brother and now knows she is on to them, yet just by going home she is supposed to be safe? And somehow figures he is not serious about wanting to kill her? Huh?
Anyway, Julia's flaws aside, the book was enjoyable. The part after the climax was a bit longer than it needed to be, but this book was not bad at all and I'm very grateful that Ms. Richter gave me the opportunity to read and review this. Thank you.
