really liked it

“no one ever says good-bye unless they want to see you again. aa”

ever since I finished this book, this sentence has been in my mind, and I've been going over it, again and again, trying to grasp its full meaning. I found out that there's a Japanese word "Sayonara" which means final good-bye. It's not something that you say to someone you are sure you're gonna see again. From my understanding, it also means that if we meet again, we'll be different people, I'll be a different person. And it makes sense, it makes so much sense.

“Your now is not your forever.”

you should. it is very very good.

Brin This quote from the book has also stuck with me after reading it. It really made me stop and think about what that could have meant and whether it could actually be true. I enjoy hearing the different ways people interpret this quote because I am also still trying to figure out the whole meaning behind it. The meaning you put behind the quote makes a lot of sense because it relates to how Aza and Davis were in the beginning, and when they met again Davis said that she was a different person.

Klmcdermott I think it means that she ends up with Davis. At the end she talks about being married with kids, but never says her husband's name. ???
