it was amazing

Dark and delicious in only the way that Lisa Jewell can tell a tale, DON’T LET HIM IN is the ultimate sociopath novel; and in true Lisa Jewell fashion, told through different points of view and timelines where at points you don’t even know who to believe…

The novel opens with death of a popular restaurant owner Paddy, and we’re introduced to his grieving daughter and widow: Ash and Nina; and then the man, Nick Radcliffe, who claims to be from Paddy’s past and finds himself swooping into Nina’s life quickly. We also hear from other POVs but I think it’s best if you read this book as blind as you can….! I read it in one day, it is completely impossible to put down! You will be enraptured by the lives of our main characters and the drama that unfolds…

Lisa Jewell boldly continues to go where she has gone before: her books are often not for the weak of heart, this has a couple small gruesome references and trigger warnings, major spoilers though, it’s a dark read, but it’s so bloody good.

DON’T LET HIM IN is an incredibly gripping cautionary tale of who you can bring into your own home without realizing it… Jewell is always at the top of her game and this book is no exception.
