Any and all promotions should go in this folder. Sales links are definitely allowed -- but ONLY in this folder. Thank you. Please start a new topic for whatever you'd like to promote.

I'll be moving existing promotional posts into this folder over the next few days.

Peter Prasad (goodreadscompeter_prasad) | 16 comments Gut-Check Green (Sonoma Knight #3) A climate fiction thriller by Peter Prasad New review for GUT-CHECK GREEN: “Vivid. Prasad's use of description is nothing short of magic. You want to be transported into another world? You want to escape reality and immerse yourself into someone else's fight? Pick up this book. Now.

"When I started reading this book, I felt like I was watching a movie play out in my mind. That same magic stayed with me throughout the entire story. But it's not just his writing style that grabs you. You feel like you become the characters. You feel like you are inside their heads; their addictions. And you want to pull for every character, even if you feel a little guilty by doing so.

"But it's more than just the description or the characters that made this such a strong story for me. As a writer, I read not just for enjoyment, but to learn how to perfect my own craft. While I was reading Gut-Check Green, I was taking mental notes on how Prasad worked out his action scenes. There were no wasted words. No fillers to make the story longer. Each word had its place to further enhance the story. Each line written can be used to make the reader feel like they are watching something they really shouldn't be seeing. But you can't look away. And you can't quit reading. Overall, Gut-Check Green is a great thriller. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. Neither will you." - Thank you, Cindy Witherspoon. Holiday Hugs!

Joey Ledford | 13 comments Hi everyone. I'm Joey, a newbie, and I'd rather be writing then promoting. But somebody's gotta do it!

One determined cop is pitted against a town populated by evil cops and a strongman's group of criminal henchmen. Cal Bocock has been handpicked by the Governor of Georgia to break up the town's infamous speed trap, clip joints and cat houses. But it's a struggle for him just to stay alive.

Joey Ledford | 13 comments SPEED TRAP is one good cop versus a whole town of bad cops.

SPEED TRAP is a small town in south Georgia, a place you can't avoid on your long road trip to Florida, and you'd better hope you just get a ticket when you get pulled over.

SPEED TRAP introduces Special Agent Cal Bocock, a handsome young investigator handpicked by the Governor of Georgia to bring down small town tyrant Earl "Boss" Griffin and his corrupt cops and gang of evil henchmen.

SPEED TRAP features Fancy Fontaine, a beautiful and mysterious lady in black who initially enchants Bocock at the funeral of a murder victim.

A veteran book editor calls SPEED TRAP a "suspenseful Southern gothic." A prolific author says Joey Ledford's "characters are vivid and powerful, and his plot is thoroughly believable and fast paced."

Start reading SPEED TRAP tonight. You might not be able to stop.

SPEED TRAP is free on Kindle Unlimited and is also available in paperback.

E.A. Briginshaw | 29 comments In anticipation of the late February release of my new novel, "The Second Shooter", I am offering a free copy of "Goliath", the first in the series, in the Giveaway section of the site.

Synopsis:
Henry Shaw leads a relatively quiet life trying to balance his work at a growing law firm with his family life, including supporting his teenage son who has a promising soccer career ahead of him. But all of that changes when Henry’s bipolar brother, in one of his manic states, tells him that Goliath didn’t really die as told in the biblical story – and that he is Goliath.

When his brother disappears along with a media magnate, the FBI and the local police believe they may have been part of a secret international network and that Goliath was his brother’s code name. The solution to this puzzle may reside in his brother’s laptop computer, which mysteriously disappears during a break-in at his house.

Is his brother dead or just hiding from forces trying to destroy the network? Henry tries to solve the puzzle along with an intriguing woman he encounters at an airport bar.

Watch for Giveaway copies of "The Second Shooter" when it becomes available.

My debut novel just got its 25th 5-star review on Amazon. It's a crime adventure thriller set in south Georgia in 1959. You couldn't get to Florida without passing through Astoria, and the boys in power took full advantage of its strategic position. In addition to all the action, there's romance between the state's lone investigator charged with breaking the grip of the lifelong "Boss" and a mysterious lady in black who keeps showing up at the funerals of murder victims.

Hi everyone,

Right now Amazon is selling the ebook edition of my book TERROR'S REACH, published by Random House, for just £0.95 / $1.45. Terror's Reach is a fast-paced thriller set on the south coast of the UK, featuring a former undercover cop called Joe Clayton. It was my attempt to write a kind of DIE HARD story - a tight thriller set mostly in one location over a short timescale - and I think it would appeal to fans of Lee Child, Simon Kernick, Matt Hilton and so on.

Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Terrors-Reach...
Amazon US: http://www.amazon.com/Terrors-Reach-T...

If anyone decides to give it a go, let me know what you think! Thanks for your time.

Michael Scott (mallanscott) Dark Side of Sunset Pointe (Lance Underphal Mystery #1) by Michael Allan Scott Dark Side of Sunset Pointe

The first of my books that fired a "style" controversy, employing first AND third person POVs, as well as present and past tense - past tense reserved for flashback sequences. You either love it or you hate. Admittedly, for the casual reader, it can take some getting used to. You be the judge.

5 out of 5 stars. Most Helpful Review by Amazon Customer: “Mystery, intrigue, touches of the paranormal—this book has it all.”

Faceless (A Suburban Noir Novel) by Cathryn Grant Faceless

In the heart of Silicon Valley, a group of longtime friends present their idealized lives on social media, while their true selves remain masked. Battling feelings of betrayal, envy, and lust, their addiction to an endless stream of updates is silently eating at the foundation of their relationships.

One of them is not feeling the love. One of them is isolated and jealous, and considers murder worth the price to gain a life that matches the glittering world displayed online.

Faceless is a gripping suburban noir novel that explores the dark side of social media, and leads us to ask whether those we call our friends might be complete strangers.

Debbie | 9 comments Hi, I'm a New Zealand writer and I wrote a book which is a mashup of Sherlock Holmes and Pride and Prejudice. The premise is that Mrs Bennet has been killing off the prettiest young ladies in Hertfordshire so that her own daughters might have a better chance of snaring a husband. The arrival of the illustrious gentleman detective Sherlock Darcy in the neighbourhood causes complications for more than just Mrs Bennet, as Elizabeth's own investigations into the series of suspicious deaths is put under great detective's scrutiny.

The book launch is in a week or two (in Paraparaumu, New Zealand), but it's already available on Amazon if you want to check it out :-)
