I purchased it on audible as a preorder, finished it yesterday! I enjoyed it.

That sounds like fun, Ann. How did you hear of it? Not that I need another book to read....

I am nowhere near receiving my library copy so it may be awhile. I see there are already 6 posts! Maybe some of them are summaries?

Carol: I can't remember where Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers caught my eye at first.
I was drawn to the older female main character as described in the blurb.

Just picked up my audio copy from the library and started listening in the car on the way home. I don't think it's a spoiler to say I was moved to tears in the first chapter or so. I won't say why, will include that in the spoiler thread if I think of it when I'm finished. Not at any bad outcomes, something else happening as the crash unfolds.

Shame on me. I just googled T.J. Newman because I wondered, after reading "his" first and reading the detailed descriptions of living through a plane crash in the first chapter, if "he" was a pilot. Lesson in gender assumptions: "she" was a flight attendant for 10 years. Thirty lashes with a wet noodle, as they say!

Just got my audiobook on libby. Quick question. Is this connected to her first book? Or is it okay to read this one first?

Christene: while I haven’t read the first book, I have been assured they stand alone and are not related.
