Ann (annrumsey) | 16652 comments Good to know Russ, thanks for suggesting it!
I just got my turn for the audio; hope to start this weekend as soon as I finish my current audiobook: Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice For Murderers; Vera is a hoot.

Sherry | 4407 comments starting it today!

Holly (thehollythompson) | 2 comments I purchased it on audible as a preorder, finished it yesterday! I enjoyed it.

That sounds like fun, Ann. How did you hear of it? Not that I need another book to read....

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9331 comments I am nowhere near receiving my library copy so it may be awhile. I see there are already 6 posts! Maybe some of them are summaries?
-----
Edit: my copy is waiting for me at the library. I will pick it up on Saturday!

Ann (annrumsey) | 16652 comments Carol: I think most of the spoilers welcome thread posts are “how it made me feel” type / end of book comments. It is so fast paced that it is hard to summarize. Glad you are getting yours soon!

Thanks, Ann, I will hold off peeking until I've read the book.

Ann (annrumsey) | 16652 comments Carol: I can't remember where Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers caught my eye at first.
I was drawn to the older female main character as described in the blurb.

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9331 comments Older female main characters? Sounds like The Old Woman with the Knife!

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9331 comments Just picked up my audio copy from the library and started listening in the car on the way home. I don't think it's a spoiler to say I was moved to tears in the first chapter or so. I won't say why, will include that in the spoiler thread if I think of it when I'm finished. Not at any bad outcomes, something else happening as the crash unfolds.

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9331 comments Shame on me. I just googled T.J. Newman because I wondered, after reading "his" first and reading the detailed descriptions of living through a plane crash in the first chapter, if "he" was a pilot. Lesson in gender assumptions: "she" was a flight attendant for 10 years. Thirty lashes with a wet noodle, as they say!

christene_littlelibrary (cpaulanavarro) | 60 comments Just got my audiobook on libby. Quick question. Is this connected to her first book? Or is it okay to read this one first?

Ann (annrumsey) | 16652 comments Christene: while I haven’t read the first book, I have been assured they stand alone and are not related.
