20. A Dream Come True by Maureen Lee
Both Quick Reads from the library, both new authors for me.

I'm an ecologist so we do lots of surveys for different species including bats to see where they are, what 'routes' they travel along and where they feed. It can involve a far bit of sitting beside roads being seriously bored for two hours at dusk and dawn. (Hope that clears it up lol)

Sounds like interesting work though. There's a land research institute round the corner from my house in Aberdeen (the Macaulay Institute). I've read of people from there doing similar stuff. Think one of them got rabies after being bitten by a bat so it's risky work. :)

Thankfully they tend to ignore us most of the time, as we stay out of their roosts (where they sleep in the day) and avoid handling them, as you need special licenses to do either. Although I do know one or two bat specialists who have had a nip or two from the wee things and they've got surprisingly sharp teeth apparantly!

22. A Rare Benetictine by Ellis Peters
23. Secrets by Lynne Barrett-Lee
heh, I think we need to revise Lynne's target upwards. 500 more like. :)

I concur, she's getting through her 50 far too fast and showing the rest of us up lol!

Haha yeah, Lynn's new goal is to read War and Peace 50 times within a year :P
Well done Sam! Have to let us know whether it was worth it or not!

I am on holiday after tonights shift and although I am taking my ereaders I don't think I will get to read much with my little brother and sister taking me out! It may give you a chance to catch me up! Lol!
Haha, you really do read a lot!!! Maybe we'll have to think of some other long or boring books for you to read! :)
Lynne, we are just in awe!!!!! (How about Middlemarch and A Suitable Boy? - they're both door stops....)

32 Bridget Jones' Diary by Helen Fielding
These may be my last ones for a few days as I am off to the E Midlands and W Yorks for a few days.
Will catch up with all the posts in all the discusions when I get home, unless I can get on a pc before I get back!
