Ringing in the New Year 2024
In 2023, I have had a lot of ups and downs.
With my uncle passing away on Feb 2, 2023.
On March 29, 2023, Our Maple Tree in the front yard fell. Waiting 3 months to get rid of it.
On June 12, my dad fell and slipped on wet grass breaking his left wrist, Thank goodness, through physical therapy he's able to move it & heal it.
One of my happiest moments. Then a week later, my brother & his wife & my 2 nephews came down.
Throughout these past 2 years, 2022 & 2023 going to dentist appointments to fix my teeth and be almost done. Another 2 more years.
Recording, and editing over 175 videos for my YouTube channel.
Making videos & photos for my other social media profiles Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok.
Including all these conflicts, wars, drama, bullies, narcissistic behavior, crazy protesting, mass shootings, and reading people unaliving themselves.
As you read, it's been a sad, crazy, chaotic, and rough year for me. I know I'm not the only one who had a rough & sad year.
It seems like every year that ends with a 3 or 6 in it, we all go through sadness, struggles, karma, bad luck, problems, and issues in our lives. That's what I have noticed in the past 38 years that I lived.
Plus, I will be publishing my 10th poetry book in 2024.
Here's a poem I wrote & hope 2024 gets better for everyone.

Goodbye 2023,
It was sad, crazy, chaotic, and rough.
You really knew how to pop that confetti.
It was super epic fun making new friends.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello, 2024,
Here's to not slamming doors.
Or falling on wet floors.
Here's to laughing some more.
Here's to the people with their loud, obnoxious roar.
Hopefully, 2024 is not a bore.
Pray that we are done going to war.

Busy Being Busy
Well, hello everyone, to all the readers & reviewers out there. As you can read the title, I am always busy writing, editing & publishing my next book. It's been the greatest adventure so far since 2015. I am just beginning. 8 books in.
I feel like I'm still a freshman with another fresh book for you all to read. It's a wild ride to research new words and understand the meaning behind these words. It also helps me find new ways to write these words in sentences that peak your imagination. It's very challenging too.
As someone who has a learning disability, it can be difficult to pronounce these words too. While I'm researching & writing along the way. I'm always learning something new.
On the side, I also create, direct, edit, write, produce content videos for my Youtube channel: Author Maryann Gestwicki. It's free to hit that Subscribe button.
I am also a self-employed house cleaner. They say don't quit your day job. because other jobs don't pay. Well, I am taking a year off from housecleaning. So I can focus on writing more books for you all to read & creating videos for all to watch.
