He was like a god to her. What happens when your god dies? Sebastian wondered. When someone is your sun and moon and stars, and then you discover something, something that reveals a hitherto unknown weakness so fundamental, so shattering that it destroys not only your trust in the other person, but your respect, too.
Some people never recover from that kind of disillusionment.”
C.S. Harris, When Gods Die

“She touched her hand to his cheek, and he turned toward her, his arms coming around her to draw her close, his cheek pressed to the side of her hair. She felt his chest lift against hers as he drew in a ragged breath and held her tight. And then he said the words she'd long thought she'd never hear.
"God, how I love you, Hero. So much. So much...”
C.S. Harris, Why Kings Confess

“those for whom war is lucrative are rarely satiated.”
C.S. Harris, Why Kings Confess

Persis Menon Thank you for the Sebastian St.Cyr Series, they are amazing! The Audible version is like the movie in my head!! I can see all your characters so clearly thanks for being so descriptive. Recently when I checked again to see if your new title has come up I've noticed that all your books have been taken off Audible. Imagine the heart attack I had! Does this mean that "Where the Dead Lie" won't be on Audible???

Melissa Your Sebastain St. Cyr series is amazing. I picked up What Angels Fear about 8 years ago randomly while searching for something new to read. I was going through recently returned books and thought I would give it a try. I've been hooked ever since. Thank you for continuing to write these wonderful novels.

Jenny Torpin Oh my goodness, I love Sebastian St. Cyr! I recently started reading your series and since then I can't wait until I can get my hands on the next book. I usually finish them in one day, I can't put them down! Please keep writing for a long time, I don't want the series to end!
