William Klaber is a part-time journalist who lives with his wife Jean in upstate New York. In 1990 he joined a group of researchers who were going through the newly opened LAPD files concerning the murder of Robert Kennedy who had been murdered in Los Angeles in 1968 moments after winning the California presidential primary. Yes the sudden turn by my supposed partner was shocking, and I don't really know the reason for it. It's very clear from many sources that 13 shots were fired, which means a second gun. Please do read Shadow Play and I'd love to hear from you afterwards. If I had your e-mail address I think I could send you a copy of the original RFK Tapes. Regards, Bill(less)

Lucy Lobdell to Lilly Ledbetter:

First Steps on the Rocky Road to Equal Pay

One of the enduring images of last year’s election was that of Lilly Ledbetter standing before the Democrat Convention and telling about her fight against Goodyear Tire for paying her less than her male peers. She won her case on the merits, but then the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 against her saying that she should have filed her suit within 180 days of the f Read more of this blog post »

“We had been given flowers, good food, and a soft bed, all in exchange for declaring our love. I thought we might go from town to town and marry in each one.”
