I have to say I love Hayao Miyazaki's movie better because come on, it's an awesome movie. (Although, Spirited Away is my favorite movie)
There were some differences in the book but the movie was based off the book and it's not going to be the same. All that matters is they both were awesome and the author loved the movie too.
I absolutely love fantasy worlds that are way out there.

The movie is far better than the book.:)
I really enjoyed both the movie and the book as well. They are different and very well done in their own ways! I could rewatch and reread both many times and not stop enjoying them. <3
The movie is just, in its own right, amazing, funny, and cute. I agree. On these maybe it’s best to take them as separate entities. I love Spirited Away too.

TU and I know what you mean. I love a lot of his movies but Spirited Away is my favorite movie in the world. And then Whispers of the Heart. Even though I do love all of his movies and own them all. I wish he could have done more but in that interview he just couldn't see or draw like he used to and he did it all by hand. He's amazing! ❌⭕️
Nice review, Melissa. Great movie! I like all the Ghibli stuff. Spirited Away is good but my favourite is Laputa castle in the sky.

Spirited Away is my favorite movie in the world. I hate when people have to say they didn't love it like I did. They could just say they saw it too like you did. I love all of his movies. And I got my final results on cancer today so I'm going to get some things in order for my stuff I have to do unless I opt out and go the other way. I won't be commenting for a few days. ❌⭕️❌⭕️
