My initial reaction to the trailer for Here was what in the CGI nightmare factory is THIS?!?!?!?! My second reaction was to go see if it originated as a book . . . obviously. Of course my fantastic library system had a copy so I checked it out right away. What a fantastic premise this graphic novel is. With mainly imagery and little dialogue this is the story of what happened “here” in a particular location from 500,957,406,073 BC to 2313 AD. A great addition for collectors.

I got this one from the Central KCMO branch, but it's pretty famous apparently so I bet Mid-Continent has it as well.

That HERE is this Here??
I mean, I saw the title of the movie and was like, "Ha! There's a book that I loved that has the same title but there's no way that book could be made into a movie."
But, also, I can't think of another reason this would have come into your hands. That's not an actual house on the cover, just a window.
And now I want to see the movie.
I'm so happy you liked this!

That Here is indeed this Here and windows are a part of houses ; )
Speaking of - one of my "Currently Reading" (a/k/a already read but am too lazy to review) is another window cover, but I didn't notice the horribly Photoshopped face peeking out. That face - I should have paid more attention because it would have warned me I would not enjoy the book like I expected.
