really liked it

Sheldon in love.

Adorable and fun. Probably one of the most enjoyable chick lit books I've read, ironically, written by a man.

On the other hand, not nearly enough sex in it.

Rashika (is tired) That's what I thought :P (about the Sheldon part)
I am glad you liked this book! :D
I've had it on my to-read list for a while so the fact you liked it makes me want to push it up :P

Tatiana I hope you will like it too:)

Sheri You had me at "Sheldon in love". I'm going to have to check this one out!

Maggie Tatiana, I thought you were reviewing again and got all excited! :)

Tatiana I am so busy and lazy these days. And now also discouraged:( but you should check this book out.

Loretta Nyhan Loved this one. Best I've read in a while.

Andi I just started watching Big Bang Theory this past summer, and this was my first thought! I can almost hear Sheldon's voice in my head as the narrator!

Kate Your review made me laugh. I couldn't agree more

Overbooked ✎ I'm a BBT fan and I immediately thought of Sheldon in reading prof Tillman recount of his failed romances. You have summed it up, "Sheldon in love" indeed

Buuuffalo I'm sorry,I don't read the book yet, but it's relevant with Sheldon?

Diane Omari The main character is a lot like Sheldon. :)

okay, well, then I gotta to read this.it's gonna be so much fun.

Devon Smith (Yost) yep..the Sheldon comparison clinched it for me as well

Jocelyne I absolutely agree! Don reminded me of Sheldon immediately :P

stacie I agree!

Joanne Armstrong Shelton in love LOL :-)

message 17: by Sam (new) - rated it 4 stars

Sam This book is so much more than a Big Bang Theory comparison.

Summer I immediately thought of Sheldon when I started reading it.

message 19: by Carly (new) - rated it 1 star

Carly B Funny... I just gave up on this book halfway through Chapter 5 because of its hyper-focus on sex. Yuck. Why do we want to fill our minds with sexual promiscuity, when the God who created us made it so very clear what sex is (and is not) meant to be?

message 20: by Lynn (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lynn Mitra I totally agree!! I read the book "in Shelton's voice""

Kylie Jenny Patrice - pick it up. Seriously, pick it up, you won't regret it. Sex isn't avoided, but when you understand the character, you'll understand the lack of descriptive sex. I don't think you'll regret it... just read it with no expectations, and see how you go...

message 22: by Max (new) - rated it 3 stars

Max Knickerbocker Read my comment three above, under Heather K's comment. I am excruiatingly bored out of my skull. Did u guys all read a different book? Yes, I am also reading in Shelton's voice....it's just all so bland and slow and shallow. Unfortunately, I DO regret it..what a waste of $$ and my time which I have none to spare. From all the reviews, I thought I would adore it....it sounded so sweet and adorbs. But....I couldn't care less what he does. He and Rosie aren't even likable. So disappointed.

Kelly The Sheldon reference made me laugh out loud! :)

Alyssa Delaney I too thought of Sheldon from the very first page. This book is so cute I ended picturing Don as Sheldon and rosie as amy from BBT.

Julien Sheldon falls in love with...Penny. Hilarious and very funnily written.

Patty I also kept hearing Sheldon. Glad to hear that others did as well.

Janet Francis-Jones Me too!!

Liana I think its a good book..mature setting since i was getting pretty tired with YA genre and since i am witing for the next fever book to be published...i think it brings some new perspective in my reading
Not enough sex though and i sometimes pity Don, but he rocked

pure_purr Sheldon in love - this is exactly what I thought when I read this book 😄

Mehves Totally agree about Sheldon. I even checked the year Simsion wrote it to see if he took a cue from the big bang theory, and I very much think that he did.

Nuwaha I thought as much

message 32: by Jj (new) - rated it 4 stars

Jj Hart that's so awesome! I also thought Big bang as I am reading it!

message 33: by Uma (new) - rated it 5 stars

Uma Then its good that there isnt much sex in it

message 34: by Megan (new) - added it

Megan Hansen Referring to the character as Sheldon solely because he happens to be the only other person on the spectrum is incredibly offensive. He is not the same person. Lumping together everyone on the spectrum is a big part of why the character refuses to have a diagnosis- it causes ignorant assumptions and labels. I know this is not intended to be hurtful, but please be aware that people on the spectrum are individuals and do not appreciate this type of commentary.

Rezaur Khan That was also the first thing that came to my mind: Sheldon Cooper !

message 36: by Mia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Mia hes kind of a mix between sheldon and forrest gump

PeaceOfGod I am going to read this JUST becoz u wrote "Sheldon in love"

message 38: by Malcolm Bodley (new)
