What's this?
It is a list of books on my bookshelf on paperbackswap.com. People have wishlisted them, so I am alerted. Just a reminder to read these first and then when I POST them they will be requested first and I will be able to in turn request my wishlisted books with that credit.

There are deals but through the site the wishlisted books are one for one. I don't want to swap the books I am currently reading as a group or in a series (BDB, Demonica, Darkyn etc). But I won't have room to keep the paperbacks. I don't mind starting an e-book collection in the future =D.
I'm not sure about e-reading. I've only looked at the Sony reader when it was first out... There's just something about words on paper and the feel of a book in my hands for me. And I tend to daze out if I try to read online.Not that I wouldn't like to have access to some titles my library doesn't approve of...and I can see the advantage of not having to move bookcases and book cartons.
Some readers have the "look" of paper (e-ink) and tend to be easier on the eyes as far as reading for a long time. My Acer netbook is small enough that I carry it around with me and have my e-books with me. So its a computer and e-reader in one. But does not have the e-ink reading ease. But nothing electronic will compare to having a real book. For me. I travel a lot. And knowing I could have my whole LIB right there with me is great. I will always have a stash of real books as I can't pass up a book sale, lol.
Melody came up with this idea in the suggestion thread, and I thought it will be perfect as another challenge: Here is how she describes it, complete with a sample:
How about "Build Your Own Boxset"? (something I've done with movies that should translate to books): choose 3 or 4 titles (by different authors that are not part of a series) that relate by theme or by title (title your boxset and/or explain your reasoning).
Example (related by title):
(Un)Dressing Your Cowboy, one book at a time:
Blue Jeans, Tuesday Morrigan
Dark Roots and Cowboy Boots, Luann McLane
Scrooge Wore Spurs, Janet Daily
Under This Cowboy's Hat, Rob Knight
Now for some ground rules:
1. There should be a minimum of 3 books in your boxed set. They should not belong in the same series or written by the same author.
2. There is no time limit for this and you can complete as many as you can depending on your creativity. However, although cross-challenged titles are fine, the books must have not been read before you post your entry.
3. Unlike other challenges, before starting, you must post the complete list of books that will belong to you boxed set.
4. Be sure to include an explanation of your boxset's theme.
