"Assassin Study
I’m glad Snyder is a panter!
While the outline for this story sounded interesting, I prefer how the story evolved. Plus I thought the official ending was a lot better.
Given the nature of the story, there isn’t a whole lot of background information. We don’t learn as much about Valek’s past as I thought we might. (The assassin referenced in the title is not V.)

I get what this issue was trying to do, however, I felt the flashback story lost some of its emotion and urgency because it kept flipping back to the present.
This is not the first meeting between Sabretooth and Wolverine. At least that’s what I took from their initial interaction.
Interestingly, W didn’t have his adamantium bones OR his claws.
