I was born in Melbourne, Victoria in June 1983 and moved to Western Australia with my mum when I was 16 months old. Due to learning difficulties, I struggled to learn how to read and write. Thanks to my mum's determination and dedication, I learnt the magic of the written word and fell in love with storytelling and reading.

I was 6 years old when I discovered the art of poetry and had my first poem 'Platypus' published in the state newspaper. I also began writing short stories and started a daily journal, which I still maintain today.

Over the years I've faced numerous health challenges, including Photosensitive Epilepsy, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Hypoadrenalism and vision impairment. I don't let my disabilities hold me back from following m ...more
