‘Disappearing Yeoman’ is now available on Kindle

‘The Disappearing Yeoman’ is now available on Kindle, and to launch it, it will be FREE today, Wednesday 21st and tomorrow. It’s a print replica edition, and though I’d still recommend the printed version because of its larger format, this one will be a boon to those of you who live in places where the cost of the printed book is high.

I'm really at a loss over this book - I can't make it out. It's a bit like a book that's turned down by a publisher, but the editor points out that there are parts of it that could be developed into a good story, and the author later uses them to wri ...more

This is a doorstopper of a book. I found the beginning confusing as it jumped between the professionals in Scotland Yard, the amateurs in the New Forest, and the at first mystifying inclusion of a lightly fictionalised account of the ugly James Bolge ...more

"I can't remember the last time I read a book so bad that I spent the whole time willing it to be over. This is a crude insight into the mind of Martin Amis, and I doubt I'll be returning to him any time soon."
