Sarah asked Elizabeth Gilbert:

What advice would you give to someone who dreams of writing a book, but struggles with getting started?

Elizabeth Gilbert Hello Sarah! Look at it from a cosmic perspective...what have you come here on earth to do with your life? I made a vow to myself when I was about 15 years old that I would be a writer. I didn't promise the universe that I would be a good writer; only that I would WRITE. So I write. And I release the outcome, because the outcome is none of my business. Most of what blocks us is fear about criticism, fear we aren't good enough. But forget about that — what matters only is the process. Set your timer for 30 min a day, and begin.
