Paula, much and all as I love dogs (I've had ten to date!), I can't bear the thought of reading a dog book that requires the Kleenex at my elbow!

Oh, it is indeed a book that requires tissues, Paula! I read this years ago, and loved it - through tears, of course, but loved it!
